Good Morning everyone!! Off to work and then tonight me and my mom are going to see Straight No Chaser!! Can't wait!! I'm sure by the time I get on here after the show this thread will have reached the 1,600 mark....unreal!

I did that in July and the iPhone is great (for browsing and apps)! Too bad I drop every other call and the reception isn't that great. Oh well, who uses their phone for calling people anymore anyways...

If you are in an area in which 3G is overcrowded (causing 'Call Failed' drops during/at start of calls) and you need to make an important call without fear of dropping switch your phone to the Edge network (previously Cingular). You can switch back and forth as much as you like, the Edge is about 1/2 the speed though so it is not ideal for internet surfing and heavy email usage. Also you can not be on the phone and use data at the same time on the Edge.

Go into settings / General / Network / and you will see a slider (first choice) for enabling 3G on and off (off = edge). Soon as you hit the home button you will see your signal bars go blank, then pickup on the Edge as signal comes back you will see an E instead of 3G.

We love our iPhones, iPads, addicted!! Gave our kids the old iPhones when we upgraded and put them in the otter box defender series cases. Talk about heavy duty! We don't spoil them completely though, no service on the phones just a media device with wifi (glorified itouch). Oldest (11) is learning to pay for her pay as you go phone. Responsibility = future DVC member!!

We LOVE Straight No Chaser! Have a great time tonight! We saw them in Atlantic City in August, and are going to see them at the end of November in Manhattan.
