Thanks for all the welcomes!

Anyone have a line on a good source of pirate wear. We'll need to outfit ourselves as well as our two DD's

I posted this under Deb's name first but she would have killed me for it so I am now me!

I'd like to know how you guys became known Mr. and Mrs. Happycamper. Deb and I have also been known as Happycampers but I can't explain why here on the Dis. It's a rated R story.:thumbsup2

Once Deb reads this though, she will still want to kill me!:rotfl2:

How funny, so is ours!! :rotfl2: (story)

P.M.'d, not really that exciting to be honest. I would love to hear yours though! Rarely hear it as a nickname for a couple, just a saying usually.

Terrie (Calypso726) & Wally (W@ll-E) might be able to help you with that! :goodvibes

Well that all depends on how well the story is told right! :joker:

Or the promise of many a purse heheh

Well I can definitely say it has a little bit of SHOCK value :rotfl2:

Too much fun people, seriously this cruise can't come fast enough! Great group! :jumping1:

Small world my bro lives in Centreville:goodvibes We just visited this summer on our east coast to Disney tour;)

Ok I am very interested in the B2B. I called and our room is available and they are holding the ressie until the 12th. Our luggage would stay on between cruises? Do we need to get off or do we stay on? DH really wants to but I am hesitant we have a Disney wedding this summer too:scared1: What to do?

If you have the same room, your luggage stays. There were posts earlier in the thread (about a couple thousand posts ago, WOW!) describing what happens between cruises. I don't remember but I'm sure someone will repost. Don't be :scared1:, we are taking a little too much on but you only have one life to make memories with.:thumbsup2

Good man! I say this a lot:

I do not beleive in reincarnation. I beleive we have yet one life to live, so why live in regret? The worst thing for someone is to be at the end of your life, looking back and wishing you did something. If you get stuck in planning and planning and planning, sometimes things just don't happen.

Now mind you, I am not saying get yourself into a bind you can't get out of; but this is Disney and it is full of :wizard:

Edit: No offense to those who do beleive in reincarnation, that is just my personal outlook (DISCLAIMER FINISHED) :)

Hello to all of my fellow member cruise shipmates!
My wife (Sue) and I are in cabin 8656.
This is our first Disney cruise, and my first commercial cruise ever!
We are very excited to say the least.
I just joined the disboards to find out about the cruise. I look forward to learning from and playing with all of you!

Hi :wave2: and :welcome: We look forward to getting to know you! There is definitely a lot of playing around on here all in good fun :thumbsup2

If I had my way about it, we would be in Florida too! :cool1:
Milford

I could swear that last Christmas on SSMC10 thread I mentioned something about going to my parents wearing flip flops and shorts and everyone said they were moving in :confused3 The offer still stands :goodvibes

I hope!!!

Oh that would be awesom! SUrely if Julio the pool boy is living next door, Wally will get me a pool!

First post, if you couldn't figure it out by my name, I am HappyCamperGRF's wifey! Excited to be on 'board' now and in September pirate:
Looking forward to meeting all of you, now I no longer have to post vicariously through DH!

AVast me hearties! It appears as though we have another pirate: lubber in our midst! Ahoy Matey and welcome on "board" Aaargh! You won't find many scallywags here but I be sure that some of ye do o'bit of plundering of sorts 'specially with their pieces of eight. I for one, Yo Ho, Yo Ho, to pillage Macy's I go...:rolleyes1

Well, I figured out what it would cost to live at WDW! Figures are based on $120 per point purchase price and $5 per point dues. Total to live at OKW in a 1 bedroom vacation home for the year would be $1,246,440 with 52,000 in annual dues! I'm gonna start saving now!!

Resale would only be $623,220 :thumbsup2

Poor Junior :sad2:

I doubt Wally could help with that one. The extent of his involvement was me saying "Stand up and stay still" while holding a tape measure. Then a box arriving weeks later and me saying, "Here you are wearing this" :lmao:

Here is the saga of the quest for the perfect pirate costume. I could not find a costume that I liked for both of us that wear ready made :confused3 In my mind they had to match and had to have a certain look to them. Yes, I'm a bit high maintenance :rotfl: There are several costume designers on Ebay and I found one that had a look to her designs that I really liked and it was the only thing that came even remotely close to what I had in my head. But, she only makes women's costumes. So, I contacted her and asked if she would be willing to do some customizing on my costume and also a men's costume to match mine. She agreed and did make the Captain's coat style vest to match my bodice and pants for Wally. But she did not have a men's pirate shirt design. So, she referred me to a designer on Etsy who could make the men's pirate shirt and she sent her the SKU for the type/color of cloth she was using so they would match perfectly. Then I had to find hats. I found one fairly easily for Wally a basic tri corn hat. But, I could not find one for e that I liked or matched  So, I found another designer on Etsy that makes hats but she didn't have any for sale that would work for me and I asked if she's be willing to custom make a tri corn hat to match my outfit for me and she did. Footwear was next. I found leather pirate boots for Wally on one of those Renaissance costumes for re-enactment web sites. My pirate boots I found on a website that sells Steampunk style clothing. Accessories were next. I found a cool multicolored scarf at Sears to go around my waist. On Ebay I found a designer that specializes in Steampunk style accessories and I got the belt, knick knacks for it and the cool dagger that customs confiscated from my suitcase :rotfl2:

If you go to a designer give yourself plenty of leeway time as they start taking Halloween orders in the summer! Once they have their fill they stop taking orders.

WOW terrie! You put alot of time and effort into that!! It showed, those were great!

I don't have the patience for that so it's a T-shirt for me again!

No offense taken :goodvibes I do believe in reincarnation. But I want ALL of my lives to be full of fun, joy and magic, including this one so I agree :thumbsup2

:lmao: Thanks! It was fun getting all the pieces together to get what was in my head to come to life, knowing I don't have the talent to sew it myself :rotfl2:

I wonder if Ian is going to pop in outa left field whe we least expect it. Or maybe Debbie will sneak in some posts inbetween blowing out candles today :rotfl:
