Woman suing Disney for negligence in boat crash
by Scott Smith
Jul 7, 2011
An English woman has filed a lawsuit against Disney after sustaining injuries when her husband crashed their "Sea Raycer" watercraft into a Disney ferry. The suit claims that Disney was negligent when they allowed her husband to rent the craft from Cap'n Jack's Marina in Downtown Disney because he was given no instruction, had no prior experience, and should not have been allowed to rent the craft. The injury report stated that the woman suffered a collapsed lung, broken ribs and back pain.
A Disney spokesperson stated that the lawsuit was "without merit" and that Disney will "respond through the court, as appropriate."
...why didn't she sue her husband?
Hello All, Looking forward to the member cruise! This will be our 4th DCL but 1st member cruise. I like to share an idea that by Daughter Abigail has done the last two cruises. Our kids will meet lots of our kids while on the DCL, if is hanging out in the Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab,The Edge,The Vibe or even the pool. They will meet kids from all over the World and by the end of the cruise may have made a New BFF. Here is the Idea: Go and buy 20 to 25 postcards from your hometown. On the card list your child's name, address and email. When your child meets a new friend and would like to keep in contact after the cruise, then can exchange postcards. At the end of the crusie your child may have some new friends and postcards that they can share with others back at home. Maybe that friendship created on the cruise can last a lifetime.

Morning. Thanks for the coffee Michael.
That is an AWESOMESAUCE idea!I think that would work for everyone. Not just kids. I think that even the BIG kids (and you know who you are ...
) would like to do that as well. (I know that I am considering doing that ...
) You can make your own post cards with pictures that you've taken around your home town and then places like Walgreen's or CVS have a selection of photo cards that you can format to hand out. I know that they are relatively inexpensive. We did that when we bought our house.
