I just scrolled and paused in places. I, like others, are concerned about Hoosier John, so I did read for awhile.

I like Tony Stewart. Loved it when he drove for Home Depot since that's Tim's employer! He's not having a very good year though.

I'm a Juan Pablo fan ... He (like several folks here) has been lurking near the front all night ...

I am wearing my Jaguar formula 1 shirt today in celebration of the REAL race weekend. It is the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Watched the end of qually this morning. After looking over the the grid, I'm thinking the marshals at Copse will need to have the catcher mitts on because there will be lots of carbon fiber flying! The race will be on your local Fox station tomorrow at 11a. I recommend it!

Ahh to be young, fearless and flexable!

With me there would have multiple broken bones, head injuries and other assorted trauma! Plus there would have been a helicopter involved!

I am so very happy he is well! (any bets on him doing this kinda thing again?)

Yeah, as he's telling me this story, my brain is running through all the "could-a-beens". Glad I didn't get a call to go meet him at the hospital!

Anything is possible. He's grown a lot in the past year. I don't think he's quite coordinated yet. I noticed he's starting to fill out. It's weird watching them at this age.

We might watch some of it. Used to be into Formula 1 but more into NASCAR now.

Another caution - it WILL be a green,white,checker AGAIN.

So, I am starting to get a complex!

I have such a limited time on here and when I do get to take some time to catch up, I have to spend 4 hours reading. Then ......no one else (except my husband - who I can actually talk too) seems to be online!!!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good weekend. We are working on, ok we started our FE gifts today. We may be at this a long time!!!! I do think that others may like them....at least I hope so.

On a positive note, we are having a Pottermeet tomorrow, for lunch so that should be fun.

Believe it or not, I am a graduate of the Skip Barber School of Motor Sports. It was my dream growing up that I could be the first female to win the Indy 500. So, I am of the feeling that real race cars have no doors. However I have mellowed as drivers go from series to series and I was not happy with the events in Indy car (CART) racing. So I have lost some of my true feelings about the sport and I will actually watch NASCAR.

Luckily, Michael feels the same way I do, so we don't have to fight over watching racing!!

I too Like Tony Stewart, I also like Mark Martin and Ricky Rudd who no longer races.

A racer in the same situation will do everything he can do to win ...

So true. I was surprised last week when Kenseth pushed Ragan for the win.
