Ok tell me this doesn't suck. My corporate IT folks in charge of our proxy servers (they don't give me that control a the local plant) opened up Facebook to be able to be accessed by every employee in the corporation. At that same time the blocked all chat rooms and forums ( inluding this one)!!!!!! I cannot access the Disboards any longer from work without whipping out my iPad and going on my personal hot spot on my Verizon Phone.

Needless to say besides that I am getting complaints from my plant managers wanting to know why I opened up those websites. I can't win or losing.

So sorry to hear that Milford. What do they expect us disboards addicts to do? Just tell them you need 51 more pirates and maybe they'll understand and let it slide.

Yeah Wally. Where's my position as your assistant? You know, the one where I boot up your computers, get your coffee, bring you your three bags of food for lunch, notify you when you need to come outa retirement and just to keep you entertained. That's still on? I was a Guiding Light girl but sadly they went off the air a few years ago. The writers were starting to come up with really crazy story lines and they were filming it very weird...it was more like watching home movies rather that a professionally filmed daytime show.

Nonetheless, I was really sad to see the longest running soap opera come to an end.

I was shocked to see that we went through TEN PAGES again, hut then relieved that it was mostly smilies. I hope we can come up with better topics of conversation when we are all face to face otherwise we are all going to just sit and smile or make funny faces at each other all day long

Good morning all. Last night was horrid. Had a bit of broken sleep between the dog that had the runs all night, the cat who had to go, but wasn't let out of his kennel in time, the son who had to clean the cat and the kennel, the puppy who was woken up by all the commotion and came running in to lick my face, and the moaning of every one in the house who was woken over and over again. I think Stitch was the only one who really slept last night. His room is at the back of the house. It's quiet back there.

Thanks. She's getting better. At least she's not running out once an hour now. She snagged a small piece of corn chip before I could grab it off the floor. She's very allergic to corn.
