Are you thinking about the Spirit of Aloha Show or Ohana? I wouldn't really compare Ohana to a luau at all. The foods at the luaus I've been to are completely different. When we went, there was a lady who sang on and off and a kids coconut race. My mom was feeling really sick at dinner, so I was a bit distracted by that ... and my huge pineapple filled lapu lapu. Good thing the DH was driving that night. It was STRONG!
I'm a big curry fan and Boma had a lot of curry. Also, the Zebra Dome desserts were super yummy. Boma also had some really yummy soups ... I had a couple of bowls full of soup alone. My kids found enough to eat (they tried a lot of different things that they didn't care for), but I was bummed that I spent that much (because they are Disney adults) for them to eat mostly chicken nuggets and dessert.:headache:
At Ohana they loved the pot stickers, the skewered meats, and the bread (and even ate a bunch of the salad). I could have eaten the shrimp all night long. YUM!
Yup, I am torn between Boma and Ohana (I know there is the Spirit of Aloha show with the luau food, or the Ohana table service), I was thinking of working our way toward the Polynesian, snack, then Boma for dinner. We do eat a lot of asian food, so Boma might be a nice change .:goodvibes

 Now you know why I'm not an Linguistics major. Mike and Andy are far more creative and funny than I am!
Thank you John, but a good comedian needs a worthy straight man.:thumbsup2 How is everything across the pond?
Happy Tuesday Everyone...:lmao:

OK, this may date me, but existed before I was born, but really funny.

*Laugh In* sketch with Gladys Ormphby and Tyrone:

Tyrone (to Gladys, both sitting on a park bench): Do you know about the here after?
Gladys: No.
Tyrone: Then you know what I'm here after!
Gladys: starts beating Tyrone with her purse...:rotfl2:

Interesting, because when I make funny comments, I usually do it with a straight face. I do it so often that when I say something outlandish, but true, my friends laugh. I have to stop them and explain that I was being serious (for once).
How are things going back in the good ole' USA?

I asked my FIL for more pub songs, I'll have to record them. :)
Here's a pic not too far from the house, but far enough. I'm glad that it stopped raining or else I'll need to find a boat. :sad2:

 :upsidedow ...O.O....ok, got it! Just a wee bit slow on the uptake...

Now how about those ressies?

Boma or Ohana dinner show?:surfweb:

How about those FE's? I was thinking of making my own...Here it gets a little tricky...So far my daughters don't know about the trip...:rolleyes1...The plan is
  1. Tell them we're going to the beach
  2. On Sunday, "drive by" the port to "see" the Dream...
  3. Surprise them with the boarding passes for the "Dream" with DCL Lanyards...
  4. Then meet everyone on the DIS on the Dream! :goodvibes

Ralph is safe tonight on Dancing With The Stars! We get to see him again next week!!!! :yay::yay:

I missed the second show and it's just starting here now. I guess I should figure out when the show is on if I want to watch our Karate Kid!

We are doing the luau Thursday after the cruise and Park fare? on Saturday. I think Friday is wide open if someone wants to meet up for dinner. I have to make sure with Deb if that is our open night.

I don't think we have any ADRs post cruise, so have your boss talk to my boss and we'll just show up :thumbsup2
