Hey that's great. Yes, that would be very cool. Are you talking England? We will be in Derby, England during the weekdays, but will have a car and could drive somewhere on the weekends. From mid-Jan to mid-April.

And being able to talk with someone who doesn't speak the Queen's English! I'm sure I'll be tired of it by then.

Why only one of you? I'm sure it's for work, but that much time would be great to enjoy together, if at all possible.

One of our daughters lives in London and is pregnant with twins. Her son is only 16 months old. She and her husband have asked for help for the first month. Since we are self employed, she has decided we are "the help"! :rotfl2: (The reality of "since we are self employed" is that someone has got to stay home to make the Disney $$.) I am the salesman of our household so I am probably staying home. Besides, Dan is a better mother than I!

Hey Michael, if we have an odd number of people on your boat, would you mind giving up your seat and water ski off the back?

Here you are starting off :boat:--~~~--:thumbsup2

Here you are under way: :boat:-----~:woohoo:

Just before we leave you: :boat:---__--~:jumping2:
Great graphic demonstration! Whaddya think Michael? :rotfl:

That's right, I remember the daughter in London, now that you mentioned it. She generally flys in/out of London, and the drive is about 3 hours. We could drive down, or think of anyplace in between to visit/tour. I'll mention it to Lara to see if she has any ideas.

More power to Dan at Mr. Mom. I just about blew my top today. The final straw cost about 80 cents. I had an envelope which might have been overweight, so I put on two stamps, just to be sure. Later I see she has peeled off my stamps and stuck them somewhere. On the step-stool (her punishment chair) for 3 minutes, while I had a chance to comprehend, we're only talking about 80 cents here! :)

Thanks Dan, wasn't sure how it would turn out. It's probably funnier if you have ever water skied and been drug through the water because you forgot to let go of the rope when you fell.

Hello Everyone...

Here's the <CLICKY LINK> for the pics from our Cinderella's Royal Suite tour. Keep in mind, we didn't have much time to spend in there, so I just started snapping away with a Point & Shoot camera. Hope you enjoy...

Excellent photos of Cinderella's Royal Suite, Wally! Good quality and assortment. Might be as good a look as I'll ever have. Thank You for sharing.

I suppose the artwork above the fireplace, which is really a flatscreen TV, was the precursor to the Enchanted Artwork we'll see on the Dream.

Mike is not the water skier in our family so I thought it was very funny!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

GREAT SHOTS WALLY! WE HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THERE. WHEN ARE YOU AND TERRIE BOOKING IT:rotfl2: I THINK YOU SHOULD OF TAKEN THE PHOTO OF THE BACK OF THE CASTLE WHERE THE SUITE IS WITH TERRIE LEANING OVER THE BALCONY WAVING. HAVE YOUR STREET NUMBER PUT ON SIDE OF CASTLE AND TELL EVERYONE THIS IS YOUR HOME

Ok Ian, so that is three for you.

1) Ian
2) Laura
3) Dudley

I sure hope they have life jackets in Dudley's size...

THANKS FOR THE IDEA, I WILL HAVE TO MAKE A LIFE JACKET FOR DUDLEY FOR THE MAIN CRUISE. I SHOULD HAVE HIM COME OUT ON LIFEBOAT DRILL. LAURA WOULD KILL ME:rotfl2: SHE HAS ALREADY THREATENED ME WITH BRINGING ONE OF HER OLD SKIPPER DOLLS DOWN TO TAKE AROUND:rotfl2:I SAID THEY MAY THINK YOUR NUTS:rotfl2: SHE JUST LOOKED AT ME:scared1: THE SACRIFICES I MAKE:rotfl2: I SHOULD TELL HER ITS ALL IN THE DISNEY EXPERIENCE:laughing:

Wow thanks for sharing Wally. Great pictures :goodvibes This is the only time I will see the inside of the castle.

Ian, you know that they really do allow people to stay overnight in the castle, right? Not sure if that's the room or not, but I've heard of it before. Wonder how much it costs ... or if there's even a fee involved? It could be exclusively for dignitaries only. I bet Wally & Terrie heard all the stories, and could tell us.

Your suggested pose would make for a great photo Christmas card for them.

Hi Jennifer and Lynn! I talked to the WDW tours people today. We can only get 10 people in each boat, and I think with your families added in we are almost full on 2 boats already. I talked to lpotter a little while ago and she and Jim will bring our total number up to 19. We can make our reservations on March 20. The CM I talked to said I would be allowed to reserve more than 1 boat at that time, but that it might be a good idea to have a couple people call in order to do everything we can to assure we get what we want since there are only 4 boats that do the Illuminations cruise. Payment is not required at the time of booking, only a credit card to reserve.:banana::banana:
Thanks Sue :) Just let me know who the lead is for the ressies. That would be awesome! :thumbsup2

Jennifer :goodvibes

Hey all,

I have just been chatting with Mike (friends with mickey) offline about the potential Parrothead gathering.

He has some great ideas, and I think this might be a hugely popular event. Another inaugural event for this cruise!

Everyone start thinking about it, I believe he will post within a day or so asking for ideas to help out.

Thanks John for all the coordinating you are doing to make sure a good time is had by all! I would like some feed back on a Parrothead get together during the cruise. It seems like Jimmy Buffet music and fans and DVC members like to have a fun time whevere we are. I propose getting as many of us together as possible. Please send your opinion. We can try to meet on one of the Castaway Cay days at the adult beach for fun to Jimmy Buffet music or meet on one of the sea days in one of the bar areas. I will work with DCL entertainment to make sure there is the right music for our gathering. Please let me know which would work best, the island or on board. Once we establish a time and place I will work with the folks at radio Margaritaville to see what other surprises I can arrange. All ideas are welcome and encouraged so get your Parrothead hats on and let me hear from you. Thanks and fins up!pirate:

I'll take a thumbdrive of your music Ian --- Sounds wonderful :) Let's see if I fill the half the back porch with white sand, install the ceiling fan for a balmy breeze, run the sprinkler for water effect, then play your music, aaaaahhhh yes I am at Old Key West and CC... but wait it's 20 degrees outside I think the sprinkler would freeze and the balmy breeze would feel like a gail wind

:rotfl:

Can I answer for Michael? I think he would love to water ski behind the boat....it's something he has not done in my history with him, so I say let him try!
Nancy

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: You should get along just fine with my wife

Note to self: Don't let Nancy & Lara spend too much time together. (people disappear off these ships all the time)

I got ya covered there. You can borrow my heat lamp ... I'm sure you've seen them up north, restaraunts use them to extend their outdoor dining season... A burner that deflects heat back down on you.

Collect 5 of these ... one in each corner and one in the middle of your "beach", should do it.
I can see you now :beach: and poor Milford in the distance, :car: to his 3rd job to cover the gas bill.

Probably will have to hook them up to your house gas, because they'll burn through about 20 pounds and hour, collectively.

Heck you might as well go all out and put a large flatscreen out there, playing an ocean view with wave and bird sounds.
