I will enjoy my day either way ... NOT watching the game ... (Phineas and Ferb are currently on .... ) But Nancy has the remote and is switching back and forth ... so my attention span is divided ... laptop .. cartoons ... snow football ... it's all good today!

Only a couple of inches here in Indy, but it's blowing over about as fast as I can shovel. I remember in Michigan shoveling the walk and drive, and have nearly an inch accumulation behind me, where I started. I imagine it was similar for you today.

Michael, while I appreciate the permission, I enjoy the sport and not "shoving it" in peoples faces...

I am fortunate that my team is strong but realize that on any day, any team could win. (Plus, have you ever seen the damage a bear can do when it gets pissed???)

Question...I have no idea how season tickets work...I've never had them. But do you also get tickets for the away games?



Debbie...we only get tickets when the BEARS are at home. Ten games in all, that counts two preseason games. We are given the opportunity to buy Playoff Tickets....if they make it....even Super Bowl Tickets. When the BEARS went to the Super Bowl in 2006, we were picked from a Lottery to buy tickets. We bought them and then sold them for four times the amount we paid. It was awesome. We just couldn't afford to travel down to Miami during the school year. Season Tickets are fun to have. We really enjoy them.

Not nearly as embarrassing as the loss the Packers suffered to the Lions! I don't think ANYthing is as embarrassing as losing to the Lions.

But it's the Vikings ... even free ... it's STILL the Vikings for gosh sakes ... If they were playing in the park down the street for free, I'm not sure I'd go.

On a non football note, We have the outdoor lighting done BEFORE the snow flew, spent time yesterday doing the festive decorating stuff inside, watching Navy beat Army (one of the few college football games that we enjoy watching) and a couple of movies.(Eat, Pray, Love and Toy Story 3 ) A nice bonding weekend.
