Ian, why did you have to say that? We were planning to add on, but now I am thinking we may have to go BIG so that we can get the member cruise for free. And Sue saw this, so that I may not have a choice about it now!

I wish we could add on that much! I'd be happy if we'd be able to add on 50.

I am not a dvc member yet! working on it. We were invited as guests of our friends that are DVC members. I live between Phila. and Allentown, Small town called Perkiomenville. I am 15 minutes away from Pottstown or Quakertown. Do you know the area? State room is 7570, deck 7. Thanks for the invite. Keep me posted after Christmas.

They will just freak out if you, the non-DVC guest, walks around the ship with them, saying hi to all the friends you met here! I would love to see the look on their faces.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think last year on the member's cruise they were only offering a free cruise (not this SSMC). But I think the point value was still 250 for it, and maybe even guaranteed booking on this cruise, so no phone dialing all day. Does that sound right?

Lilly has surgery in the morning. So I will probably not get much sleep. The doctor says it is worse on the parents than it is on the child. It is just a simple surgery, but still, a parent worries.

I hope her surgery goes well and she recovers really fast. My son had tubes put in his ears TWICE and even tho it's a five minute surgery I still worried about him. But he was just fine the next day both times. Good thing they are correcting it now and not later when she is older... More of a chance that she won't remember it at this age.

I have no idea what kind of special daily gifts or perks might be available, but I do know this: You have special friends who invited you, and there is a whole shipful of other folks quite like them. That alone makes it extra special!

We are there the 30th through the 5th of December.. I am sooo excited!

ONLY 13 DAYS UNTIL WE ARRIVE IN ORLANDO WITHIN A SHORT TIME OF EACH OTHER. PERHAPS WE COULD MEET AT THE PIN STATION IN FRONTIERLAND DURING MICKEYS CHRISTMAS PARTY.

I COULD WEAR MY OFFICAL DISNEY CHRISTMAS HEADGEAR SO YOU COULD SPOT ME! OR ARRANGE FOR A DIFFERENT TIME AT PARTY. RIGHT AFTER PARADE I WILL BE LEADING THE OTHER 6 WITH US TO THE CIRCLE AREA INFRONT OF CASTLE TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS. I COULD HEAD BACK TO PIN STATION AFTER THAT IF I KNEW YOU WERE HEADING THERE.

That is correct. My husband and I are sailing with 4 other adults. we have 3 rooms next to each other. do not know their room numbers yet. I have been active on these boards for many years.. I will fill them in as it gets closer to the cruise. I get my daily Disney fix on these boards. always reading something but I don't post much but will have to start.
WE are leaving for Disneyworld on Dec.1 with the couple and their family that invited us on the dvc cruise.

Hi everyone. I am new to this thread, we are also going on this DVC Disney dream cruise. First time on a disney ship. Would like some info on why these DVC cruise's are so special. What kind of special daily gifts do you get in your cabin and what extra perks come along on this special cruise. Thanks for any info you can share.

Hi Sandy! You're lucky to have such great friends!!! We have a difficult time getting family members to join us on the cruises, let alone friends!! But, now after this year's member cruise we have lots of new friends that are sailing with us again next year!!!

I THINK on the 2010 member cruise if you bought enough points at Aulani, you DID get the 2011 Member Cruise as an incentive. But don't quote me...we had no intentions of buying into Aulani so I didn't pay too much attention to that sales pitch. At that point in the program, I was just waiting to see if my name got drawn for some point give-a-ways! Sadly, my name didn't get drawn.
