We are there the 30th through the 5th of December.. I am sooo excited!

Sounds like a great time to be down. Do you plan on being near MK during the parade taping?

good morning . 3 weeks today will be our last full day there. We will be transfering from okw to ssr

I have heard all about the gifts that you get on the SSMC, I am really excited since this is my first cruise and I am a relatively new DVC Member!!! (I just love getting presents )
I also understand that they have additional merchandise for sale especially for the Member Cruise. Is this true and if so, what can I expect to find?
Thanks to anyone who has been on one before and can give me the info. I have to be a "very responsible adult" all the time so I love Disney stuff where I can actually be the little kid I really am inside.

Did errands and shopping this morning, will be packing later today. Arriving Wednesday, taking ME to OKW, dinner at Ragland Road. Thurday is Animal Kingdom day and dinner at Boma. We'll be taking it slow for this trip, lots of r and r needed for DH.

Good Sunday everyone! A little chilly here but thats ok. We are watching a little bit of the Bears game then maybe a movie, so all in all a very good day.
We too may attend the DTD event next weekend, its always fun there. On that note did anyone get the invite to the webinar this week? I saw it on the DVC forums and I was able to sign up. I think you get a litho for viewing, I don't mind watching and dreaming

Sounds like a wonderful trip. Now that I know I have another trip planned around the corner w/ our DVC membership, I really feel we can enjoy Disney vs trying to get everything in. Our trip in Sept was the most relaxing we ever had. Have a wonderful stay!

Thats the day I signed up for too. I'll try to catch it during the day so I can still spend the evening with the family.

No, two weeks from right now I'll be IN Disneyland. Two weeks from last night, when I posted, I'll still be a couple of hours away. It's a long drive.

Hi, Lynn! We received the webinar invite via email, but no DTD invitation. I just called DTD and was told we were welcome to show up anytime between 11:00 and 3:00. Is that the same as the invitation you received?

I just went to the store and they were passing them out. It is good online and in the Disney Stores until November 17th!!! They have some really good sales going on right now.

BLT is our home resort. However, this will be our first stay. We have a 2B Lakeview. So hoping it faces out towards MK. Young grandson will be so excited if he can see the monorail. I hope the post the date of the Merry Mixer soon. If the 11th is the first date, we will miss it since we will be on DME returning home. Gives me all the more reason to attend the Doorway to Dreams event next weekend.

For your BLT Lake View, you should put in a request for an Even Numbered Room, North End of Building. The Even Numbers are those on the outside of the C and the North End is the end closest to the MK.

THIS WILL BE OUR 5TH MEMBER CRUISE, YES YOU SHOULD BRING EMPTY BAG THE GIFTS ARE SMALL BUT SOME DO TAKE SPACE. THERE ARE USUALLY SPECIAL DVC PINS. LIMITED QUANTITY, AND THEY SELL OUT. A LOT OF STUFF SELLS OUT BECAUSE SHIP IS FULL OF DVC CRAZIES LIKE MEIM A PIN COLLECTER SO I GET THERE RIGHT AT 6PM WHEN STORE OPENS. IVE COMPLAINED THE LAST 2 YEARS BECAUSE THEY CUT BACK ON DVC CRUISE GOLF SHIRTS. 2010 THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY. ANYONE WHO CRUISED ON THE LEGENDS CRUISE KNOWS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.

Hi Sue, yes that is what I received. I am such a sucker for these I never got the webinar one just happened to see it posted and was able to sign up

Hi Andy I have to tell you my DH is a retired POC ff. He had over 31 years before he was retired. He comes from a long line of ff, his dad was assitant chief, his grandpa was chief and uncles and brother all served. I am proud to say my son is also a POC ff in a neighboring town.
