Wally, thanks for thinking about me. Last night I went to bed early, until Lara came in and started talking to me and turned on the light. I layed there for a couple more hours then decided to get up. Watched a couple of movies.

Hey Shawn! Sorry....I was soooooo tired last night. Went to bed shortly after I posted on here! Good thing, though....8 AM this morning the neighbor kids were ringing the doorbell!!! UGH!

I DVR'd it and watched it last night. I'm super excited now! But, I thought it was a water COASTER....it doesn't look like it goes all that fast!

Ya know, I wonder if Junior figured out the cost of 52 weeks of b2b cruises??? I wouldn't mind that... winter is settling in

Yes, winter is for sure settling in. We got snow last night...about TWO INCHES! The kids are already outside playing in it. That's why the neighbor kids were knocking on the door at 8:00 am.

Shawn did you get snow today? I know some parts of IN. did. Glad it's not here yet.

We got snow flurries last night at 5:00, but the accumulation of snow happened somewhere between midnight and 3:00 am. TWO INCHES!

Speaking of snow, Milford wants to put up christmas lights next week during the warm up. Guess I can't blame him, but no turning on till the Friday after Thanksgiving....

I agree....let him put them up but just not turn them on until Friday after Thanksgiving.

This is strange. After I last posted, shortly after 8 tonite I refreshed my screen (or tried to) and I just got the hourglass so I closed out of the disboards. I tried to go back in and I got a message saying the boards were going to be down for 2 hours for either updating or upgrade, don't remember which. I just tried to get back on now and see that everyone has been posting. Any ideas why I got that message?

That's hard, having one so close to the holidays. My second DS was born Dec. 20th. He was due on the 26th but I had a scheduled c-section and I wanted to be home for Christmas. Is this your 1st?

Jr's b-day is Dec. 20th, too! I feel bad for him, more often than not his birthday goes un-noticed.

My DS was due Dec.5 and finally came on the 19th. When we brought him home we put him in a big Christmas stocking under the tree.

Ours came home in a big stocking too. I wonder where that stocking went. I know Santa didn't use it - way too big.

Well, I think I'd better get going. I'm wiped out. Hardly slept last night. We've been invaded by hobo spiders. We've killed 9 in my bedroom so far. If I'm feeling as creepy as I did last night, I'm just going to give up and come sleep on the sofa. There were a bunch of them crawling around on the outside of my window too. I told DS13 to take the bug spray and go out there and bring death upon them. Unfortunately, I found out tonight that it was OFF that he grabbed, not the RAID. So, now instead of dead spiders, they're just really pissed off and mosquito proof.

Ooohhh!!! Sorry to hear about the spiders! I hope you are able to get rid of them soon.

Has anyone played golf at Osprey at WDW. I got my folks a tee time there and am hoping it is awesome?

Osprey course is a real beauty. I have played it many times. Alot of water so make sure you hit the ball straight. You are better off giving up distance on some holes and hit a club that you are confident with and place the ball on the fairway instead of swimming with the gators. Yes in the past I have seen a few gators in the water. Some advice, if you hit the ball in the water be a little careful going to look at it along the water line. I have been told by the maintenance people that they control the size of the gators and when they get to a certain size they are caught and brought elsewhere in Fla. Also, every time I have played, I have seen some beautiful deer, I haven't played there since they first started clearing the land where the Pines course used to be and I hope the construction hasn't scared them away. Hopefully your parents enjoy the course because it is one of my favorites.

It was a very "Kyle" thing to do. He's a very literal kid. Sadly, the spiders weren't fazed by the 40% deet.

I'm ignoring the talk of snow. I refuse to acknowledge the possibility until after I return from Disneyland. Last time we went we had to reroute due to a blizzard in the pass. And that was the end of February!

Oh YEAH Met up with Sue and Dan Together we combined the advantange of being in three places at once Thanks again for hooking me up with the cool shirts before they were all gone Got there at about a quarter to 5 and the lines were insane But you do what ya gotta do for 50% off Dooney & Burke My poor Tinkerbell credit card took a beating Could have done more even more damage than I did at Art of Disney but I had reached maximum carrying capacity with both arms and nary a wheel barrel in sight

I can't believe you are on Thread #3!!

I confess I have not kept up, we were on The Wonder 3 day cruise last month, and just have been catching up on life in general since then. We just took my mom for a birthday getaway for her, the 3 day is never enough time but better than none.

I posted previously about arranging a Meet for us at the Chicago Doorway to Dreams, for anyone local or anyone who is interested in traveling. At this point it looks like it may have to be after the holidays, not sure though. I will be heading up there November 21 for a DVC event, and I will make some plans then to finalize the Meet.

I will keep you all posted on the plans for that one. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
