I think I told this story several months ago, but by popular demand here it is again. In 2000 we drove my full size van to FL with DD Caitlyn and DSIL Kayla. I hadn't even swithched to the second fuel tank when Kayla said she had to stop for a bathroom. Caitlyn knew better, and said I didn't stop for anything! Kayla's complaints grew closer together, so I pointed out a rest area coming up. Got to it and the rest area was CLOSED! So the next exit we stopped and made it safely. But for the rest of the trip EVERYONE was well drained before getting into the van!

It will not go so smooth this time with Laran (4) and DGS Caydenn (3) in the car. Lucky for them the Navigator only has a 400 mile range!

Always enjoyed Paul Harvey. We used to try and guess who he was talking about during that segment. His son never really had the same impact. Is his son still doing that ... kinda doubt it.

Jennifer, you were one year ahead of Lara.

Yep, I know you're right! But DVD players help keep them awake longer now a days. Oh that reminds me, I've GOT to figure out why the DVD player quit working!
