09/18/11 - DVCers Take Over the Dream (S.S. Member Cruise 2011) - Thread #12

Ian, Its in the seating area in fron of the Noodle Station, make a right at the Ice Cream Shop (coming from the front of the park) Past the Plaza Rest and up the ramp. There is usually a line and you can usually smell the sweets!

I know there's a body of water there, but that wouldn't make much of a cruise. More like a paddle across the pond.

I have jotted down, "Wishes Fireworks Cruise @ Contemporary marina at 8:00. They provide soda, water, bag snacks, and fruit. $35 per person plus tip."

OH MY GOSH!!!! Hopefully the new president of DVC hooks them up with a better system for reservations! If I want to link my reservation with someone else (on a different membership), MY name would have to go on their reservation as well as stay on my reservation. Tell me how that makes sense? Why would it make sense for the computer to show me in two rooms for the same vacation?!?!

(Yes, Milford, I was trying to link your room to Junior & Brandon's room and they wouldn't let me. Junior will get ahold of you later to see how ya wanna handle it)

Honestly...DVC & DCL REALLY need new reservation programs!!!!!!

LOL I've NO idea how to get to the marina. I figured that I'd scope it out when we arrive.

I've always wanted to visit Newfoundland, but haven't been yet. Of course, airfare from here is NUTS too!

I'm glad to have this info, too...I was just going to find out while we were on the cruise. I'm pretty sure the Contemporary marina is located right behind the Contemporary hotel.

I WONDER HOW THE LINKING WITH THE DINNING ON LATE DINNING WITH OUR MASSIVE GROUP IS GOINGI KNOW MY TABLE OF 8 IS STILL TOGETHER NOT LIKE THE MESS LAST YEAR REMEMBER. BUT IN THE END YOU GOT TO SIT BESIDE OUR FINE TABLE OF HAPPY (SOMETIMES KONK KOOLER INFLUENCED) CRUISERS!!!

I hope so too, my online reservations still dont show us linked with anyone. I really dont want to spend 3 hours trying to straighten it out on the first day of the cruise.
