I really tried(try) to celebrate his birthday a week before Christmas. Never did give him combined gifts. Only times he got a bit smaller BD present was when he asked for a bigger xmas present (i.e. TV, Computer, XBox 360).

So did my mom. Being poor didn't help though!

Well said. I couldn't agree more. I feel like you are ALL my family. I know it may seem weird to others, but that is just how I feel. I feel like I have made some great friends that will last me a lifetime!!

When the folks on the other thread see us all having a great time together they will finally understand. I can't wait to meet all the wonderful posters to this thread that have already gotten this cruise off to a terrific start

Kelly they told me that too. I brought sandals that day and they said no problem. Our guide said he doesnt know why they tell you that. Just FYI

She's almost caught up as we speak! She will write it down!

I'm sooooo psyched about that tour!!! There is soo much going on this vacation that I keep forgetting about that! I never thought that taking that tour would be an after thought. Usually that would be a highlight that people couldn't wait for but it's just another thing we are doing with great friends!

Where is Michael when we need him. He is our math whiz. I am sure he can explain this aging phenomenon.

It's a very simple phenomination to explain. We are the same age that we feel we want to be. There are days that I feel older than dirt. Then I remember to take the bucket out to our compost bin and remember that I make dirt!

I forget which driver (maybe David Hobbs ) said "The older I get, the faster I was.".
