Back from an awesome wedding and an even awesommer "open bar". Whoa....I am feeling it this morning!! We had a great time and Lilly was a dancing fool. Glad to be done with the whole wedding thing though. It took up our whole week pretty much.....not anymore. I can get back to my FE gifts. Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes! It was a nice, peaceful, and quiet day. Well, maybe not THAT quiet...

We had to work for about 1/4 of the day. That involved a couple hundred miles of driving and some backtracking. (Our clients should KNOW not to have problems on my birthday! And those other people who want to be our clients should know that we would be happy to get them rolling on Monday or Tuesday AFTER my birthday! ) Had a wonderful spontaneous DISpotter birthday meet, which took about another 1/4 of the day and involved another couple of hundred miles of driving. Now, all that driving was not in vain, nor was it a hardship, because the other approximately 1/2 day was taken up by buying a new car. That was pretty much necessary because our other one was at the point where it not only had 250K, but was going to require about $4K in repairs in order to keep it going for a while longer. Since we paid not that much more for it, it wasn't very financially viable.

Oh, and it is bright lime green, to keep with the DIS thing!

The ride is really cool ... BTW we noticed the lower rear corner reflectors are very bright ... it wasn't until we pulled up behind you that we discovered they were reflectors and not lights ... SWEET!

The look she has is one of guilt. She knew she was "Bad" for getting on the couch. We didn't care too much but she shed CONSTANTLY!
We used to buy this cheap canned dog food from the local store for her but it gave horrible gas!!!! She would fart and we would exaggerate our sniffing and say POOH BEAR!!! She would get that guilty look and her ears would lay back too cause she knew it was her. So what I would do was say POOH BEAR!!! and start sniffing and that same reaction would always happen even if she didn't fart!
By the way, we only bought that cheap stuff for a short time but the gag lasted until she couldn't hear us anymore.
Friday night I sat on the floor with her after eating pizza and she let out a little toot and got all guilty twitchy on me but I just petted her some more and laughed.
And while she was sitting on the table yesterday and we were all saying goodbye before the Dr came in, she let one more rip!

Neither do I! This weekend has been so emotional. Employers should offer bereavement days for fur-babies, too!!!

That is EXACTLY what my weekend has been like I got home from work Friday and have "popped" in here a couple times for 5 mins maximum, then back to working on the FE gifts. I still need to make my FE (or actually A.C.E. - Aquatic Creature Extender, since we will be on the Dream...)
