South. Not much in Oregon that is north of Portland. I'm 20 minutes west of Salem. There's not a whole lot in the middle. A few truck stops and an outlet mall. I know a great place for chowder on the coast, but that's a pretty good hike from Portland, about 2.5 hours drive one way. I don't mind driving up to Portland, if there is something you want to do there. I'm up for whatever!

We might be driving out to the coast along with some other people, but I'm not sure right now. We are still a bit up in the air, because we don't know if we have to get people to the airport on Saturday. It is still making me go

Thanks - not doing anything special today. Kids are working today so they are coming over after work tomorrow. Tim is cooking me BBQ ribs on the grill though!
