IVE DRESSED UP ON PIRATES NIGHT THE LAST FEW YEARS. FINALLY LAURA GOT A WENCHES OUTFIT

IM JUST CHECKING TO MAKE SURE EVERYOE INVOLVED HAS LIST FOR FE. THE ONLY ONES THAT HAVENT GOTTEN BACK TO ME TO CONFIRM ARE TAZ1958TERROR, GOOFYDVC AND MICKEY AND CINNIE. YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY CONFIRMED YOU HAVE THE LIST AND I MAY HAVE LOOKED AT MY LAPTOP ON THE DECK IN THE SUN WITH MY RUM BASED DRINK IN MY HAND AND MISSED IT.

WOW WHAT A COINCIDENCE. OUR ANNIVERSARY IS AUG28th. WE WERE MARRIED IN 1976. OUR SON IS ALSO 29

Talking about a coincidence, our youngest son is 29 also. However our anniversary is August, 8th just 20 days earlier.

Funny our DS and DIL made a surprise visit from Boston today to announce that we will be grandparents in March. Wife says she is still too young to be a grandma. I said well your birthday is while we are on the cruise, so you'll be older when we get back . . . I gotta learn to shutup.
5 days til WDW What the heck is skype?

Skype? I'm not that sure, but my 5 yr old grandaughter is setting it up for us. She says we'll love it.
Congratulations!! Gotta love grandkids, they are returnable you know.

Thanks Norm. I see we're about 2 hrs. due west of you in NY. Well our anniversary is 15 days before yours on July 24th, our 30th so we spent it in Ireland. Are you coming to BW on Sat. night?

It just occured to me, if anyone changes their cabin or upgrades at checkin, how would we know their new cabin number for the FE? I know that internet access can be a bit spotty onboard. But just to be safe, if you change your room, let us know at the 3pm Evolution or 4:45pm Aquaduck meetups. Bring your lists or maybe I'll print out lists so everyone can have it to make changes/confirmations. If this has been said already, apologies for the over-organized geek in me.

Just a reminder for those on the BLT side...there is also a precruise meet at Top of the World for the fireworks too. Any DVC member and their guests are now allowed up there.

Hey there! I've never been to BLT at Top of the World. Do you have to be staying there to go up there or could we just show up? What time?

Wish I could but we are staying at the MCO Hyatt saturday night, DW needs to get some shopping in before the cruise. We are staying at BCV after the cruise.
Great for you on your anniversary trip, I need to put Ireland on my bucket list. I hear it's a great place to visit. I spent 3 years in England while in the Air Force. Went to Scotland but never Ireland. You can bet I'm kicking myself now.

Almost done with our FE gifts! We're getting so excited for the cruise! Now I just have to keep my 3 girls focused on school and schedules for the next few days - no easy task when they know what's coming!

We are driving down from SC Saturday morning- we haven't been able to agree on what time we'll be leaving the house. He has thrown at 2am but I don't see that happening. We're staying at the Radisson Sat then catching the shuttle to the port Sunday morning.

Anyone else staying at the Radisson Saturday???

YES THERE IS!!! MORE PEOPLE DRESS UP ON THE MEMBER CRUISE THAN A REGULAR CRUISE. WHEN WE SAIL IN DEC WE WILL BE ONE OF THE FEW DRESSED UP. ITS SO COOL TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BAHAMMAS WATCHING FIREWORKS

been following the national hurricane site. Right now there is a tropical storm forming looks like about 5 or 6 days away from florida and or bahammas. Lets hope its course will be like leslie and michael and veer north. Last year the island was hit by irene. The member cruise was about a week later. The only damage you could see was the plantlife had saltwater damage

Like minded indeed. However, we are on our second member cruise without kids and grandkids. Our oldest son is 40, we had him when we were nine years old. That would make us Jack Benny age. Who the heck is Jack Benny, anyway?. We have 4 grandkids and should have 5 before the end of the cruise. My daughter, having her third child, is insisting we not go on the cruise. Like that will happen. That's what skype is for.

We've got a 40 yr old, too, but we were maried at nine too LOL We have three girls and ELEVEN grandkids (I was in my late forties when the first grandkid was born) and took all of them on the Dream last October. I'm not sure if the ship has recovered yet....
We were on the Fantasy in June for our first "solo" cruise and had a blast. Looking forward to Sunday! We are on the tenth floor near the adult pool end.

We are also on deck 10, cabin 10550 near the stairs that lead up to deck 11 the cove cafe. It will be our favorite spot during the day.
Well the realization just kicked in when I went outside this morning to 52 degrees. Summer is gone and the season is changing. Then I dreamed I was sitting on a lounge chair in the ocean with a Konk Kooler in my hand.
It's a good time to get out of Dodge. Saturday can't come soon enough.
