GENERALLY ON PAST MEMBER CRUISES THERE ARE LESS KIDS. BUT THERE ARE STILL MANY KIDS.

THE ADULT POOL IS USUALLY BUSIER AND THERE ARE LESS PEOPLE USING THE KIDS DECK. I THINK THAT WILL MEAN MORE KIDS THINGS TO USE AND LESS KIDS TO USE THEM. SOUNDS GREAT FOR THE KIDS

I CANT REALLY ANSWER THE FIRST PART. MAINLY BECAUSE I CANT REMEMBER WHAT SERGIO TOLD ME
RIGHT AFTER WE GOT OFF THE MEMBER CRUISE IN SEPT I KNEW WE WERE CRUISING AGAIN ON THE DREAM IN DEC. I DO REMEMBER SERGIO (our asst waiter) TELLING ME HE MIGHT BE MOVED OVER TO THE FANTASY BY DEC TO GET READY FOR THE NEW SHIPS FIRST CRUISE. I WAS DISAPPOINTED BUT HAPPY FOR HIM. WHEN I GOT HOME I CALLED DCL AND REQUESTED SERGIO AS PART OF OUR WAIT STAFF. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD PUT THE REQUEST IN BUT COULDNT GUARANTEE HE WOULD STILL BE ON THE SHIP. WHEN WE WENT TO DINNER ON THE FIRST NIGHT IN DEC, TO OUR SURPRISE SERGIO HAD BEEN PROMOTED TO WAITER FROM ASST WAITER AND WAS OUR WAITER. HE REMEMBERED EVERYTHING ABOUT LAURA AND I. BACK IN SEPT I BROUGHT DOWN THESE OVERSIZED WINTER FUR HATS FOR THE GUYS AT OUR TABLE. I REMEMBER SERGIO REALLY LIKED THEM. SO I BROUGHT ONE WITH ME ON THE DEC CRUISE TO GIVE TO CUSTOMER RELATIONS TO PASS IT ON TO SERGIO, SINCE HE MIGHT NOT BE ON THE CRUISE. IT WAS SO NICE TO GIVE THE HAT TO HIM PERSONALLY

love the story, our server on the wonder was not memorable so I don't think I will request him again. I have read so many great stories about servers I was really hoping for a great one. He wasn't bad he just wasn't great. Maybe in September.

I HAD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT KSF WAS I WOULD THINK THAT WOULD BE A GREAT SUGGESTION!!!! IF THEY DID THAT I WOULD BOOK ANOTHER CABIN AND BRING THE GRAND KIDS. IM HOPING FOR UPGRADE. I WOULD LIKE AN OUTSIDE CABIN. THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST INSIDE CABIN. BUT ITS IN THE CENTRE OF THE SHIP SO THE SWAY WILL BE MINIMAL.

It's a good thing we weren't out to sea today, because they would have to stop the ship for kids overboard. Let's just say boy i wish it was 5:00 pm.

When I booked which was fairly recent, they said all the lower cat. had been booked....I'm on deck 7 with veranda.

So maybe they would bump everyone up a little to free space in the lower cats.

I had started a post regarding DVC and cruise upgrades. Few got them but they weren't "huge" upgrades ( i.e. no inside cabin to veranda) it was more like location type upgrade

Question: is it true that tipping is also included with this cruise?

I was suprised Disney picked up port fees!

same thing when we booked two weeks ago, the lower cat all booked so we also have a veranda (bummer i hate fresh air and ocean breezes (lol)).

I know that it is supper early to even start thinkng about packing, but I am wondering about water shoes for CC. We have never been to CC and wondering if they are a good thing for walking on shore and swimming in the ocean.

This cruise DD will be at college so we plan on hanging out over there. I thought I had read that the adult beach was a little more 'rocky' so it may be a good idea if you plan to stay over there. I bring water shoes.....my delicate little feet are not used to the broken shells and rocks, so if I don't bring them I'd be the one jumping down the beach every time I step on something! eek! eek!

It's not a pretty sight so for the enjoyment of others I pack them!

They will not do a KSF promo or any discounts to the members for this cruise or it would cause mass chaos at member services with rebookings.

They will fill the ship with CMs, who may get a better discount to go.
