We just booked the Costa Maya Cruise for Sept.16th.06. We are the ones thank's to all you helpful DC Lovers that got the obstructive view room 6634. This will be our first ever cruise and I am already getting nervous can't imagine what I'll be in 06? This will be so Great seeing all who will be on the Costa Maya Cruise. This will make it fun and it will make time go by faster. Thank You for making this site and inviting me.

I am in the process of publishing a book with the backing of actress Jennifer O'Neill (summer of 42) Her new book just came out 2 weeks ago and I have 4 plus pages of my book in her's called "YOUR NOT ALONE" my part starts on page 79 in her book. She's a riot and a very smart lady also very religous. I was surprised when I found out she has her own Ministry in TN.. But truly a Wonderful Lady and a Great horse Breader/rider..

I am so glad we have another chatty person! LOL Tell DH Amanda gives him a rasberry! hehe Congratulations on your book!! I have never heard of that actress, but it is still quite an accomplishment!

She's 56 now but she did films when she was a super model back in the late 60's for Cover Girl and I think made a few films up to the early 90's. I know she was in a few of John Wayne's movies one was " Rio Lobo" But today she is an Author, Film director, Publisist and publisher among other things. It's been an adventure.
Anyway I can't wait to see this Sept.16th,Costa Maya Cruise fill up. Sometimes I think that the deposit could have been used on other things right now, but I know I will be happy as the year goes on. I told DH that by the time we get to Cruise we will have this huge network of Friends. It will be like cruising with people we know. Amanda you can give DH the Rasberry anytime, He's used to it.

Have one question!
I over the last week have gone through every combination of all offered 7 night Disney cruises for 2006. The Eastern, Western, Costa Maya, 4 day land-3 day crise,and 3 day land 4 day cruise and every Costa Maya Cruise May 06-the end of Jan 07 and The Sept.16th.06 Costa Maya Cruise that we are on is far the cheapest cruise available? Just wondering if anyone knows why this is? I know it's huricane season but so is Oct,Nov..?

It is value season because of possible hurricane, school has just started back for most kids, therefore demand is low, and what one poster hit on, since 2 stops are CC I would think port charges are lower. Another cheap week to sail is the week after Thanksgiving. I am just glad there are such things as cheap weeks on DCL, for that I am grateful!!!! I sailed Sept 19th 2004 on the Wonder, immediatly AFTER hurrican Ivan and during hurricane Jeanne. We were one of the few cruises that September to be able to get to CC!! We had absolutely picture perfect weather, and unless you knew there was a hurricane out there, you would not have known there was a hurricane out there!!

No problem chatty!! When everything was going on last year, and it was uncertain what hurricane Ivan or Jeanne was going to do, I was a bit worried, as we did not have travel insurance. BUt people whose cruises were affected because of the hurricane, were reporting what they were receiving. I feel they were treated very good and figured that even if we got to the port, and sailed on a ship to nowhere, I still had a break from my kids AND DCL was offering % off future cruises AND % refund of the fare they paid. SO I was cool either way!

Although it seems like it, Amanda is not the only one who posts (she justs keeps the rest of us going!) I am going to start compiling a list of those of us who have put our info on for this cruise. I did this for the "9/25 oops 9/27 Hurricane Jeanne cruise", and we had quite a few people. It was nice to have names and staterooms. It is give only the info you feel comfortable with.

Hi everyone! My family and I just returned from the 2/5/05 Eastern, and we rebooked this cruise while onboard. We knew before we left home that we were going to book this particular cruise, but when we missed Castaway Cay, we were glad to look forward to a trip with 2 stops there!

Our family is dh Tom (41), me Denise (35), ds Lee (10), dd Sarah (8), and dd Maggie (6). All ages are as of today.

I told hubby last night that I didn't know how I was going to make it 19 months and he told me to book a 4 night next January for our anniversary--just the 2 of us! So now I get to plan and look forward to that, too!

like you said it will tie you over until the Costa Maya cruise. I am so Glad that you've joined this Cruise, it's looking like there is alot more intrest than I thought there would be. I was wondering What deck or cat.did you have on your Eastern cruise? I know you had to Love it because you have two more booked cruises. Also can I ask what decks and cat's. for the other two cruises? The worst is when I come home from WDW I am so bummed and that's when I re-book so I can plan all over again. Disney must put something in their water that keeps us re-uping!

Darcy, Thanks and that would be Great to have all our decks room #'s names etc... We can watch the ship fill up before our eyes. It will give us something to do for the next year and a half..
The book is for pregnant teens, parents of the Teens, boyfriends/husbands, past pregnant teens ,friends of pregnant teens, teens themselves. My book won't be out until the summer but I have 4 plus pages in "Your Not Alone" that came out the first of Feb. by Jennifer O'neill...

For our 1st cruise (4 night Wonder 2/1/04) we had a category 4. The verandah was nice, but as a family of 5 we were cramped to say the least! So when we planned the cruise we just got back from, we got the 2 connecting category 9's. It was actually cheaper than getting 1 of the category 4! We were in 2122 and 2124. GREAT location. First room off the aft elevators, which made trips up to Topsiders and the drink station a breeze! We are booked in those exact rooms for the 9/16/06 cruise. For the 1/15/06 anniversary cruise, we decided to save money and just get a category 11. We are gty, so we don't actually have a room number yet.

welcome aboard praise! Hopefully by the time our cruise gets here we will all be good buddies! I already am good buddies with ericamanda01, we meet onboard the 09/19/04 Wonder and we have been pals ever since!!!She is the only reason I booked this cruis so soon after my May 27th, 2006 Costa Maya! I will be spoiled in 2006! Two 7 days in a 4 month period!!!!

A lady comes in today with a complaint of "ear mice"-we ask do you mean ear mites? she replies"no, ear mice, my cat has them too!" always an interesting day!
