Yeah! Our Jeff is better! So was it AMANDA that got you sick or what?!!! Just kidding! Good to hear that your feeling better! And for the future, please don't scare us like that again, we don't like it! I mean who will be my neighbor when I move to FL if your in the hospital?! Amanda?! I think not, I don't think FL could handle that my Amanda's!

Princess - well I liked my trip but did not love it...im glad i went and i wouldnt change that but i didnt not like the seasickness and even though it was mild it was enough to deter me from cruises for now. I do want to take the kids to WDW as we only got to visit MK for MNSSHP, but that wont be until rasheed is a little older. Rasheed loved it and wants to go back yesterday. Rekha liked it and really enjoyed spending time with Mekayla and Sadie but she is just like mommy and prefers lazing around on a beach on some island somewhere doing absolutely nothing!

Best part of this trip, costa maya, castaway cay and spending time at the cove and the pool with you all!!!

Thea aka "missing in action"...well could be moving out to calgary with my brother, so there maybe another chance for you to buy me that drink you owe me!!!! What time did you end up getting your bags out in the hallway??? i came back to the cove and everyone and the rum was gone!!!

Ike from Bali took care of our rooms, I asked him to remove the coffee table and he said he cant, and even though are luggage took up the aisle on one side of the bed and you could not pass there, he never offered to take it away, but other than that he was great. Pairoj was our server and Collin our Asst server, Pairoj was never around except to take the order and Collin seemed to do everything else, serve food/drinks and take everything away. I found it really tacky that Thursday night all of a sudden they are making paper planes and boats for the kids, cutting rasheeds food up, doing little tricks, the new found interest was fake and of course based on tipping the next night.


I really hope to do a review but I may get flack as it will not be your average "DCL is amazing in every aspect" but I am so bogged down with monthend qtr end, pre year end audit, and the fact that I finally blew up at my boss and told her exactly what i think of her - do you think it has something to do with being relaxed after a vacation and not giving a damn

Rhonda - just yesterday rasheed wanted to know why i didnt take him out of the club to meet Gentry at the beach on our last day at CC.....he didnt remember that day but i guess it just came to him and he is quite upset with me!!!

Hey I didnt want to hurt Amandas feelings to tell her she makes me sick.....But I did end up in the hospital..LOL... The Dr's asked me if I smoked and I said I had 2 packs of second hand smoke on the cruise does that count???? LMAO...Hahahahahahaha... Actually you guys were awesome to smoke away from me but smoke doesnt bother me and yet you always tried to keep the smoke away from me the whole time Or it was your way of excuseing yourself or hint to get away from me???? LMAO

They think it was the first signs of pneumonia and thats why im on Meds... Hey I need your help... Bell south is giveing me such a hard time...LOL... Long story but hey can you make some long distance charges go away????? LOL chat soon...

Good morning all,

Jeffm we are glad you are better. I am still fighting this cold.

I am so not into this back to work stuff. Sign me up for the Sept 08. It will be my gift to myself for the big "50" ugh.

You guys were so much fun. I really only saw those of you that hung out in the pool.

The laundry and suitcase are done. But all I have doen is work and sleep.

I did weigh in Monday night- are you sitting down--- I gained 10 lbs. Oh well every bite and drink was well worth it. Imagine if I didn't walk every morning.

Thea say hi to Cindy for me. Her and I had breakfast one morning, that was nice.

I better get to work, everyone have a great Wednesday, Last wednesday was much more fun.

Good morning all! Well I think Eric Loves DCL more than he let on. Yesterday after work I asked him how his day was. He said he was having a hard time getting back into it. I thought he meant waking up, but he meant being off the ship. He said when he went to lunch it just wasn't the same to not eat at the pool or the Cove. He even said those dreaded words, "This time last week on the ship..." Then he asked me when the dates for the 2008 cruise come out! I knew I would bring him to the Disney side!

Just make sure NOT to cruise during Jersey week. No offense to the New Jersey people out there, but our second cruise was during Jersey week and it was really not as pleasant. The ship was packed. There were kids running amok and belligerant parents everywhere. I told a few of the story about the guy who got in my face when he heard me say something-- he recognized the Philadelphia accent-- about how the Giants were going to kick the Eagles' @sses that year, and it wasn't a friendly comment, more of a "if you don't agree I'm going to punch you out" kind of comment.

We're waiting for prices from a few TAs on a 4 day, just me and the kids, and looking into late August 2008 because I'll hopefully be in nursing school by then an unable to miss the time.

Asha - sorry we missed you guys on our last day at CC. I am sure Gentry would have enjoyed some time with Rasheed. She was so sad to say good-bye to him as we were going through customs on Saturday! I am sorry that cruising wasn't fantastic for you but I am glad you still had an enjoyable family vacation.

We had a FABULOUS time even though we didn't do all that much. We did eat a LOT but somehow I lucked out and gained only 2.5 lbs. I was thrilled as I deprived myself of absolutely nothing

We booked for 9/15/07 but will most likely switch to 2008 when the rates come out. We want to see if there are any special itineraries but even if there aren't we'll probably reschedule for Fall 2008 - we love those low prices!

We were very happy with the pictures we had taken onboard even though we had virtually no character pictures - we never seemed to have the time when the characters were available or we missed them completely. We did have our Christmas cards made which will be a timesaver - maybe I'll actually get them out in early December this year!

Still doing laundry and putting stuff away. The 3 boxes we sent home from Orlando are still enroute so there will be that to deal with as well. Really missing our great stateroom hostess Margaret and our wonderful server Pirom and assistant server Ahmad. They all took really good care of us and were awesome with my kids. Yes, we did tip extra

It was great meeting everyone and seeing you all around the ship and on shore. I hope we see some of you on another cruise in the future!

Our stateroom host was Nicole-- good but not the best we've had.

Our dining room server and asst server were amazing. Our serverer-- Zan from Macedonia- was a scream. Great sense of humor, great with the littler kids but not too sure what to do with Sadie who's still young but doesn't quite look it no matter how much like a little kid she dresses. He figured out quickly what kind of food we liked and made great suggestions from the menus which were always right. He also brought us multiple desserts, especially if we didn't order what he thought we'd like, and again- he was always right. The kids interviewed him for school and he told them a lot about his home country-we all learned something- even the European history expert (me). Asst server Kira from Australia was also very good- she was good with the kids, kept the drinks coming and was very friendly.

Sadie told me when she was at the Mickey pool with Madalyn one of the crew members asked if she was Madalyn's mother, but not in a "I'm checking out if this baby is being properly supervised kind of way". Weird.

Jeff- glad you're out of the hospital.

I can't wait to go again.

Hi all, sorry that I was late for the DIS Meet and didn't get to meet too many of you, but so happy that I at least got to meet a few of you.

As clean as the ship is and as careful as we are about hand washing...you guessed it, DH and I both caught something. I got a cold the second day on board but felt OK so it didn't ruin my trip. DH got terribly sick on Thursday. He thought it was pneumonia again since he had just gotten over it a month ago but waited until we got home to go to the doctor on Monday. They took a chest xray ad put him on antibiotics. Seems like we always catch something on vacation. Hope everyone else who has been sick is recovering.

We had a great time but I have to say that things weren't quite as "magical" for us this time. I noticed some areas where DCL seemed to be cutting corners and it really affected the enjoyment of our cruise. We do have two more firm dates scheduled for 2007 and we booked two "dummy dates" for 2008 so we definitely haven't given up on DCL. I would rather have the cruises booked with the discount and onboard credit and cancel later if need be. If I have time I will try to write a short trip report including both the good and bad.

Cindy and I were in the gift shop (DUH) and on the way out we were handed two blue lanyards with a pin on each (they were characters flying airplanes or something) anyway, they said "two lanyards per cabin" so Cindy and I decided to each take one and not mention it to Mekayla! LOL No One is allowed to tell her we got a free pin and she missed out! Speaking of free, did I tell you guys I won the diamond pendant at the shopping seminar? I am going to start my trip report tonight, ya'll have to help me fill in the blank spots.

Who bid on my artwork? I know I will be embarrassed when I remember, but I can't recall which one of you sat in on the art auction and bid on my piece for me? You know who you are, so help me out... I am (pretty) sure it was one of us in the Double Scoop Group at least I hope it was one of us, come to think of it, I don't remember seeing a green wrist band... I just threw my number at you and said "bid up to but no more than $500.00" who were you? I wanna' give proper credit in my trip report.
