O.K. Gang...

let's talk about the Tropical Rainforest...

who get week long passes and why?

who gets one day passes and why?

I am trying to decide between the week long and day to day passes. Help me out! what do you choose? Don't you just love the Tropical Rainforest?

See That Up There?
That's an unintentional TOP! Whoo Hoo :Pinkbounc

I'd love to get a week long pass Rainforest pass, but I'd feel bad abandoning Madalyn to dh and my in-laws. And dh would feel bad about that too.

I'm still debating blowing the money on the spa villa for one treatment.

How pathetic is this? I am super excited about the trip but... I am going to miss my puppy. Now some of you may not know this, but Mason is my baby. Until I have a child, Mason will hold that place. I am seriously budgeting money to get him gifts. :p I soooooo wish I could take him with us! I know he will be fine with my DSIL, she has Mason's sister, but I am going to miss my little puppy. I need to hurry up and get on that plane! I think I am losing my mind!

Explain to me exactly what the Rainforest is...I know it's a bunch of showers, but there must be more to it than that. On our cruise last Sept, the father of the family we sat with at dinner said he LOVED it, and he used those showers all week to get ready for dinner, instead of showering in the cabin, because they were so great. I'm not a spa-type person, don't like being naked around strangers or anything, so I don't know if it is something I would like.

Watch out! Posting starts out fun as good clean fun. Then you find yourself glued to the screen and your entire family is sneaking behind your back getting information from potential clinics for treating your addiction.

Hi all,

Welcome newcomers. It's nice to se this crowd getting bigger.

We are late diners. Even though I am an early to bed person I like staying on shore or at the pool with a frozen drink until the last minute. 5:30 is just too early. So this is our fourth cruise and late has worked for all of us. When we had teen agers along they ate quickly and then ran out to the clubs. The servers were very nice about this. They brought their stuff as quick as possible.

I have never been in the rain forest. Just can't find the time to do any more inside things. I am either at the pool, bingo, art of entertainment, wine & beer tasting and of course eating at Palo. I did do a few excersise classes, but they don't seem to have many of those any more.

I hope the double dippers from last week post their navigators. I would like to see if there is a difference from May.

I don't do laundry I will bring it all home dirty. Pleanty of time to do it when we get back. I am packing a seperate bag for WDW so I can leave that in the car. The I have another one with my FSU shirt in it for the football game the day we return. I will need a vacation to recover from my vacation.

Have a great night every one.

Mom of teen- this is adicting. I even check once of twice from work to see if anything interesting is going on. I don't know what I am going to to for three days at WDW with out a computer. :rotfl2:

I don't think you undress in front of the other's do you. I know I was told to bring swim wear and robes would be made available to cover those. I assumed that the showers were actually individual, or private stalls. Am I correct?

Anyone who has been on DCL knows what a wonderful island this is and like me picked this cruise over all others :thumbsup2.For us the Mexico part of the trip is a non issue. It's all about CC. We may go ashore and wander around but love to spend time on the ship too.

I also picked this cruise cause of the two CC stops, but I am also looking forward to Mexico as I have never been. The Keys and GC did not seem interesting.

I really do hope we get the 2 CC stops cause I think Im gonna need some kick back and relax beach time to recover from all things to do on this cruise!

Addiction doesn't even describe what this is! :teeth: God help us when we get together! I bet we will talk non stop! Hey at least we won't have to worry about spell check! :rotfl:

We are definitely doing Animator's. I have read about the show and DD and I both want to see it. We have looked at the Navigator's from the prior Double Dip Cruises, and there are so many things that she wants to do during the dinner hours. For us, the cruise is more about her doing what she wants and having fun, more than about the food. I looked through the thread on pictures of the food in the dinning rooms, and I didn't see anything that I will die if I don't try. I am hoping for Animator's on the first night. If DD enjoys it, which would absolutely shock me, we will do the formal dinning rooms. If not, it won't bother me to skip them. To be honest, I am not looking forward to spending that much of our precious time on the ship sitting at a table eating. The one thing I will miss is not getting to know our table mates, but DD and I both talk to everyone who will talk to us. I am sure we will meet many people at the other activities we attend.

For anyone about to flame me, yes I have every intention of tipping whether we actually eat in the dinning rooms or not. (This is a very hot topic on some of the other threads.)

How many of you with children allow your kids to stay up late enough to attend the pirate party, and then watch Pirates of the Carribean on the Jumbotron? DD usually is in bed between 9:00-10:00. I'm not real strick about it. But, she really wants to do this just to say she did it. Will there be many children up that late, or is the movie more of a teen and adult thing.

Hmmm I am going to have to google kelis... I don't know who that is. When I let Mekayla's hair dry natural, I call her "bush woman!" Think cave woman hair! :rotfl:

Haha too funny, I refer to Rekha's hair as bush too!!!! Oh and the cut came out great...also bought some hair care stuff, defining creme and leave in conditioner by so hopefully that bush will become sleek blades of grass!!!

This is our first cruise, but we selected this one because of the two stops at CC based on all the reviews from prior cruisers. As for the various ports, we are not as interested in those because I just could not imagine that the few hours that you are in port would be enough to really experience the place. We have excursions planned, but for us, it's just a chance to stand on solid ground for a little while. If the locations were my reason for traveling, I would plan a regular vacation that would allow me several days there. I probably would be satisfied to stay on the ship, but we have to do the submarine excursion in Cozumel because DD has to do at least one educational excursion in order for the school district to excuse her absences as educational enhancement days.

Hello guys!

My friend went home yesterday. It was two long days, but I'm glad I let her stay. I hope no one thinks I'm a bad friend for dreading her staying so bad. I really do love her to death.

All my shopping is done, except DD wants new pajamas.

Dont feel bad about it Gail, I love my friends, but I cant imagine any of them staying for more than a night or two.

I may also give in on the new pj's. I was thinking of splurging and getting Disney ones but I will wait until im in Orlando.

It's a funny picture watching the two of us huddled over my laptop screen.

Oh...okay yeah i guess that does not make for comfortable movie watching.

Sometimes I dont bother burning a movie and we watch it on my computer screen. I tilt it down and then throw a futon or air mattress on the carpet.

We have early seating, but we don't really plan to eat in the dinning rooms every night. Please don't flame me. I know, everyone thinks we will be crazy if we miss them, but this is DD's birthday cruise and I can't imagine making her sit through long meals every night, when she's too excited to eat anything anyway. I've promised her that if she doesn't like the dinning rooms, we would have our meals at Topsider's or one of the other places.

Im hoping to be able to part from those tantalizing dinner menus to do some casual dinners at Topsiders too.

What you do is your business, I think we have a great group of people here that is above flaming :goodvibes

And if my kids can stay up POC is a go.
