You can do the ressies for them I would think. Just include a total number of people in the Palo ressie.

I know! It has been raining over here but now it cleared up. I got my trip insurance with DCL but will change it to get access america directly through them since kids are free with their AAA promo. You don't need to have AAA. I will wait until the cruise is paid in full since you do not get refunded if you cancel it.

No I mean for reservations at the 90 day mark. This is their first cruise so the are not cc members. I don't want to stay up til 2 if we can't do things together.

Have a happy Sunday. CAn you believe there is a tropical storm already??????? Hurricane season is only 11 days old. THis could be a very long summer. I think I need to get trip insurance. DOes any one else have it? If so who did you get it with?

We did our trip insurance throught Costco - was much cheaper than DIS - although I can not remember how much - and it coverered everything. :-)

Hi all. Haven't been around at all in a while. The kids are done school, but now I'm taking a class (chemistry-ick). Madalyn is adjusting well, and we're plowing through the paperwork for adoption number 2.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

We're all paid off and waiting to make reservations. It seems like they open up for reservations on-line at 2:00 AM 90 days out if you're a CC member?

I'll try to check in more often. Still trying to figure out the door sign thing.

I really want to see it. You think my 4 y/o would be entertained? I don't want to have to walk out.
I am sure your 4 y/o would love it. There were some pretty young ones in the theater when we saw it and everyone was laughing. It was a great movie. I think we might go see it again.

Well only 5 more days and I am officially on summer vacation! I can't wait! No more essays to write! Thank goodness. I was starting to hate my computer! Although I have to say that the cruise and returning to school are pretty close together. We get back from the cruise on the 23 and we go back to school on the 25th. But I will be so relaxed I won't have a care in the world. Except planning our next cruise!

Hello everyone. I've not posted in a while. I am also planning our Christmas trip to WDW because I have to make ADR's in a couple weeks, and I have been out of town for the last four days (another basketball tournament). We saw Cars while we were away. It is a great movie. DD asked to go see it again, but I told her that it will probably be playing on the ship when we cruise in September.

For any of you planning to go to WDW, are you aware of the new promotion they are starting in October. It is "A year of a Million Wishes" or something like that. They are going to be picking families to spend in the night in Cinderella Castle and giving out what they are calling "Golden Fast Passes". You will get to go straight to the front of every line without getting individual fast passes and without waiting for the time period to come up. You have to go to the WDW official site to enter.

I received an email about the sweepstakes you mentioned and registered online.

Today I am starting my "diet" and exercise regimen. I ate my oatmeal this am and plan to do the treadmill later on. Let's see if later on turns into tomorrow. Ugh!

Good luck with the diet. I got back to the gym last week after all the company is gone.I have to weigh in tonight. We will see how it's going.

happy Monday

:wave2: Hello everyone! I'm back. I had a great time and also had a lot to eat. I probably gained 5 lbs. So now it is crunch time. I'm getting nervous - I really want to lose at least 15 lbs, ideally 20 lbs, before the cruise. How am I going to do this? Now I feel the date is coming too soon. I also brought back chocolate and cheese.

I have not ordered the pins yet since I wanted to wait for late commers. Here's what I have so far:

5 Amy - bahogg
1 Amanda -amandaanderic
3 Amanda - dzneprincess
1 Joanne - joannel
4 Ann - AA0SAM2
4 Annae
2 Gail - gssmks
3 Thea - wdwcnwmn
2 Karen - tadsmommy
4 Rhonda - akasleepingbeauty
2 Me
==
31 TOTAL

Did I leave anyone out? I plan to place the order later this month. Once I figure out the final amount I will let you know. I think it was $2 and some change each plus shipping.

Hii,

Please include 2 for us if it is not to late!! :confused3
thanks
Teresa

It's never too late Welcome aboard. Who are you traveling with?

OK so now I have added the following to the list:
2 - Sam (tiggery)
3 - Jeff & Kathy (Beaker1967)
2 - Teresa (newtodcl)

Jeff/Kathy/Teresa, any of you have a 4year old? I am trying to find a friend for my DD so she doesn't feel too lonely at the OC...

Which diet are you doing? I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago. I lost over 5 pounds the first week and have only lost two pounds since. It's just so slow. I know that it's more healthy to lose it slowly, but it's hard to stay motivated. I am considering switching to a version of the low carb diets that everyone is doing. A friend of mine has lost over twenty pounds in the same length of time that I have lost seven and she gets to eat twice as much as I do. I weigh in Wednesday night and if I don't have a significant weight loss, I will probably switch.

I am doing a hi protein , lo carb diet. I had gotten this diet back in 2000 from a trainer and lost about 20 lbs in 3 months or so. I am hoping to do the same this time but I used to go to the gym every day. I can send you a copy by email if you PM me with your e-address. Basically you have to count protein grams instead of calories.

I am really happy today b/c I found out they finally have space for DS1 in DD4's daycare. I almost cried I was so happy. He's been staying at home with me but it is getting kind of hard to work and take care of him. Hopefully I can make time to exercise while he is in school now. Yay!

Pin: You can wear it on your clothes/bags so we can identify you as a DISer. It is also a good keepsake of the Double Scoop. If you want to see the image PM me with your email address.

The day is over and I did pretty good on the diet:

Bfast - oatmeal
Snack - 1 banana
Lunch - Subway tuna sandwich
Dinner - 1 chicken breast

But, I did not get on the treadmill. I really intended to do so when DH got home from work. He is sick and went straight to bed so I had to put the kids to bed. Besides I went to the dentist today and my mouth throbbs whenever I look down. The pain is right where he placed the needle. Uck - it is painful.

HI,

We are myself (32), DH (32) and DD :cheer2: (will be 20 months at cruise time)...we are the people on the website for our cruise in the Christmas picture (funny how we have so few pictures os all of us together :rotfl: ). We did a 3 day Wonder trip last Sept when our daughter was 8 months and really enjoyed it so decided to try the 7 night and figured the 2 stpos at CC would be perfect with the little one! Lookig forward to meeting everyone, I keep us with the thread but do not get the opportunity to post very often, but will probably pick it up some now that we are GETTING CLOSER!!!!!! :dance3:

I do! My DS will be 19 months at the time of the cruise. Last time he spent time at FN and had no problems so I am hoping for the same this time, especially since he will be starting daycare soon.

Well I weighed in last night and went to step class. I am down 4 more lbs. That is 11 so far in 2 1/2 weeks. I hope it keeps going like this.

That is awesome! I have to jump on that treadmill otherwise I will never meet my goal.

Our daughter just turned 2. She's not anywhere close to being potty trained, so we'll see the other little ones in the Mickey ear.

Julie

Did you guys go outside of DCL for insurance? I am thinking about insuremytrip.com but I am not sure if the coverage is comparable.
