I just finished printing all the Navigators from castawayclub.com. Now I am too excited. I will be up all night reading these things. I will also have a million questions about them.

Let's get started with this one: What dinning rotation hat character breakfast on what days? I want to make sure that we get a dinning rotation that will allow us to have our character breakfast on a day at sea.

We had the APL rotation and we had our CB on Thurs morning, that 2nd at seas day. WHICH by the way, we missed BC weds was the pirate deck party. After the deck party the show Pirates on the Caribbean on the Ariel View TV! Just awesome to watch that movie onboard the Magic in the middle of the Carribbean with the stars twinkling over head! The movie did not get over until about 130am! BUT remember, we also had to set the clocks ahead an hour since we set them back to be on Mexico time...sooooooooooooo it was really 230am when the movie was over! I could not even make the 945a breakfast.....we missed it, but I recall from our last cruise that it is very rushed (even much more so than the park breakfasts) I mean it is literally snap the pic and go..very little interaction at the breakfast.

We were in Portland over the weekend, I saw you called the cell...but it died in Portland and of course I didn't bring a charger. :confused3 I already bought you a pin to keep you in the loop! :cool1: Yeah, you love me  I can't wait to see you this weekend, you need to keep up on the boards so I know you're alive. Have you seen Carlos Mencia? :happytv: We got tickets to his show on Sunday, September 24th so after our flight and then drive home from the cruise, we're gonna' see Carlos in Eugene! I saw the t-shirts and bags from the first Double Dip, too cute! Gonna' buy the bag for sure! We're about 11 days from booking Palo reservations and I have no clue what a good day is....I am thinking later in the week so we don't miss the show in AP. Did you notice my Witch avatar, isn't she GREAT :stir: hehehe. Love Ya' see ya' this weekend.

WHOOO HOOOO TOP OF THE PAGE :woohoo:
Hey I was in Portland all weekend too! Oh wait I live in Portland! :p

PS regarding the Pirate deck party and the movie! Dont forget that by the time we sail PITC II will be out, and you def dont want to miss that on the ARIEL TV !!

Bummer we are booked on points too. So I guess we will have to stay with where ever they put us. We should book a big group for brunch and dinner at Palo's.

Is any one doing any snorkle excursions? We still don't know waht we want to do. The dune buggy ride sounds like fun and there is some beach time on that one.

Joanne,
Amanda is still booked on cash. Get her you ressie info, I think she is plannig on calling our TA tommorrow and she can go ahead and get you linked up with us. !!

I was really hoping to hold out on seeing Pirates II until our cruise, but I dont think I have enough will power :guilty:

Since we are headed to many of the same places, thought you might enjoy some pictures. Also, my husband and oldest son (5 at the time) made a movie tour of the ship that we show to people that have never been on DCL.

Both are in my signature now - enjoy :)

I love the look from the glass bottem boat at Stingray, Grand Cayman.

The only one Ive been on has the glass down at your feet so your bent forward watching.

Anyone know if the Castaway Cay glass bottem boat is similar to the one in Grand Cayman??

Just to add a comment to those who may Worry about set down dinners taking to long with kids, If you let your servers know that the kids are in a rush to do something, and serve them 1st, They will have a dinner in front of the kids before you get the 1st course, and then the child can head off to their club when they are done..

Then you can take your time to eat.. I know of one young man who was out and free from the adults inside of 20 mins. Yes he did use spoons and forks but I do believe he skipped dessert, but missing a dessert at dinner means nothing, There is always another somewhere else...

Mike

The glass bottom boats at Castaway Cay are more like the traditional ones where you stand around and look over a railing through a glass floor to the reef below. They let the young kids stand on the glass for some cute photos and threw oatmeal in the water to attract fish. It was nice overall, but older kids may get bored. I used it as rest time for the kids. Sometimes you have to force them to slow down a bit to avoid a meltdown later, if you know what I mean.

The boat at Grand Cayman, Stingray City was called something strange like a semi-submarine (I think). It was a boat, but the people were observing from below the waterline.

We missed our opportunity to meet! We did see the fireworks on Friday night (very cool) and the pirate ships at the park - not as cool as Mickey's pirate ship (The Magic) but it was neat seeing the pirate: ships. Eugene is such a small town, we even went to The Disney Store in Lloyd Center and thought we were going to die on the spot. There is no Disney Store in Eugene :guilty: We won't be there this weekend for the parade, so we'll have to watch it on the tube :happytv: popcorn::

Arent girl trips the bestest ever?

Ever since my girl-friend's husband snatched her away (not really) I haven't seen her enough! We are gonna' have such a ball on the cruise...and I am sure she and I will make even more friends - you all won't be able to resist our charms :rolleyes1 Well, at least we'll give you some comic relief  we have been known to be entertainment for more than one check out clerk at the local grocery store :lmao: And if I showed up at Costcos without her all the employees asked where she was :wave2: we're definately the dynamic duo

Hey guys, just for the heck of it, I signed on to the Disney Cruise site and complete the on line registration forms for the cruise. Has anyone else done this? Of course, it wouldn't let me book excursions, etc. I have never cruised before and I'm not in cat 1-3, so I can't book these until July 3. Also, out of curiousity, I checked available of the different stateroom categories. There are still available staterooms in all categories from 4-12. Is this normal for this close to the cruise? Also, the prices have not gone up vary much. I was really surprised by this.

Nope, havent done the on line registrations, but I did print the double scoop navigators. Im gonna sit down with the kids tomorrow and bust out the multi-coloured high-lighters  .

Did I mention I printed off all the menus and pick all my meals, but of course who knows what Ill feel like when I get there, but it was fun.

I cant believe I waited 6 months for summer to reach and know that it is here and Ive booked this cruise, I cant wait for it to fininsh.

My will power broke today :guilty: I was not to do any extra spending until this cruise is paid off. It started off innocently, I went to National Sports to get my son his soccer shoes and there happened to be a Winners next door and some how my mind stopped thinking and my leg started walking and next thing you know Im in the dressing room with these two dresses that seemed perfect for the cruise and they fit just right, how could I say no?

Then I felt guilty cause the kids were with me so they ended up with 3 hats and a pair of shorts each....okay and there is also the purse..i know the cruise is no excuse cause I guess there is no need for a purse on a boat...but it was pretty and Im a women :guilty: :guilty:

Do you all bring purses on a cruise?

Just finished booking my excursions: :cool1: :cool1:
Submarine in Cozumel
Dune Buggy in Costa Maya
Sting Rays first day at Castaway Cay
Parasailing last day at Castaway Cay
Palo Brunch on Monday
Palo Dinner on Sunday

Getting so excited can bearly wait... Only 100 days to go. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We did the Navigator thing last night. DD had already picked the things she really wanted to do from old Navigators. We now have a daily schedule mapped out with our absolutely don't misses written in. I even have some questions, if you guys don't mind helping a first timer.

1. When you get off the ship at ports, can you reboard any time you want? I am pretty sure you can, but didn't know how tendering at Cozumel would affect this.

2. Can you go to the game show activities just to watch and not register to compete? DD wants to go, but we are sailing alone. I wouldn't mind if she was picked for something, but I would not want to be and leave her sitting alone.

3. What is a 2D Crystal? Are these the crystal figurines with a portriate inside like are sold at several places at WDW?

4. How and when do you request a specific dinning rotation?

I'm so jealous!

We are also wanting to do the Atlantis Submarine excursion in Cozumel and we want to Parasail at CC on the second stop. As I stated before, I can't book these until July 3rd. What are the chances of there being positions still available for these by the time cats 1-3 and Castaway Club members are finished booking?

I would make sure I was up and on line at 3:00 EST, Know it sounds dumb but when I booked 2:00 CST I goto thru but at 3:00 CST I couldn't even get thru " all servers are buzy " so I figure people didn't realize the time zones and just went on @ 3:00. Here's pixie dust to help you get all you want.

How exciting. I still don't know what we want to do. have to talk to sister & brother in law before the 18th.

I bring a purse on board and then lock it in the safe. I only carry my room key, license, credit card and some cash off the ship.

Have a great Wednesday.

Im waiting for the july 3rd booking as well, although Im not going to have high hopes. Ive got to versions from this forum:
1. A limited amount of reservations are opened up for CClub and then at 75 days.
2. A limited amount of reservations are opened up for CClub and then whats left goes to the 75 dayers.

I planning to make reservations 1st priority when I board in case I dont get what I want on day 75

I also want to do the Stingrays and Parasailing, although Im afraid of heights, but then again im afraid of depths and im doing this cruise!!!

What is the Costa Maya Dune Buggy about? sounds interesting?

AAOSAM2 congrats on your bookings, Im sure you can breath a sigh of relief :)
