Just found out that with my new job, we won't be able to go as there are meetings that I need to be at in Dallas during the same week.

Unfortunately, we can't even plan anything right now because the traveling that I'll be doing won't be finalized until at least the 1st week in August. My job is one they're transitioning down here from another facility so the overall "when" of things is still up in the air. The kids took it OK but DW & I are still sobbing some

That sucks! I guess that is one of the perks of being self-employed. Noone can tell me I have to work. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that DD will not get sick or something like that. I hope you manage to work it out so that you can just change dates.

They are wonderful arn't they. Monkey World has over 50 chimps as well as orangs and other primates that have all been rescued from they illegal pet trade. It is run by 2 New Yorkers who now live in Dorset, its a great place to visit if your ever over here. You can see Monkey World in a programme called Monkey Business, we have it on the Animal Planet channel if you get that.

Hey guys! I'm so excited. We made final plans today for a Christmas trip to WDW. We are going to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Dec. 19th. How great is that? We have our cruise in September and WDW in December. I am going to go ahead and buy annual passes because I know once I do, I'll plan at least one more trip before the passes expire just to get my money worth. Now, I get to plan both trips at the same time. Guess how I'm going to be spending all my time!

Hello everyone! Finally awake after a long weekend. We had a lot of fun in St. Pete. DD4 loved the big pool (aka "beach"). DH lost his eyeglasses b/c it was quite choppy. Had to run to an eye doctor to get his exam in order to buy contacts, which he had ran out of...

Gail - that is so cool. I have been wanting to go to WDW during the holidays. I've heard it's beautifully decorated. Maybe this year we can visit my sis in St Pete and drive the extra hour. Even if we only go to Downtown Disney...

I have already planted the seed: I'm convincing my sis to go on a DCL cruise and she cannot do it until next year so now I'm convincing DH to go again next year.

It is great, but everyone keeps telling me that I am crazy for going to WDW at Christmas because of the crowds. We have been twice, so doing the rides is not that important to us. We are going for the Christmas theme. If any of you have been at Christmas, let me know what to expect. I told DD that we are going because we've wanted to for so long, and if it turns out to be a bad idea, next Christmas we will do another cruise.
