How do you guys make these signs? Where did you find the graphics? Did you have to get Disney's permission to reproduce them or are there sites with graphics that have been released for reproduction? Are those magnets? I wouldn't know how to start putting together something like that. To be honest, when I thought about a magnet door sign, I called Graphic Impressions, our local print shop, to see if they could put something together for me. They are checking into seeing if they can get permission to use some of the Disney logos and prints.

You only run into problems from a legal aspect if you sell the pictures not if you use for personal use.

Happy Easter everyone! We just go home from Seattle. We had the entire family together, so needless to say it was a mad house! But wonderful all at the same time. I hope everyone had a good one!

Thanks everyone for the kudos on the signs, but really they were super easy to make. I have a software program that helps with the font, but other than that, all you have to do is search out the pictures on the net. The link that Sirena gave is where I got most of my stuff. The woman that started the thread was on our last cruise and got me hooked on the signs. So hi Taeja if your reading this! It's a long thread but there is a ton of links for fonts and pictures. There are also some wonderful ideas and great examples to follow if you are stuck. But you can also just Google it all. Then you just buy some magnatic paper and your all set.

Good morning all,

Hope every on ehad a nice Easter. It was a busy one here. We colored eggs and hid eggs. The kids from 10-20 had a blast even though they won't admit it. It was nice to have evry one together. Between my nightbor and us we have five boys, 20,17,16,13,10. They had fun all day. We played twister and cranium. Of course the big boys always won twister and the Mom team won at Cranium. It was so much fun.

I hope every one has a great week. We have graduation and company coming in a month. So we are going to be busy.

We spent Easter in Blizzard Beach. The kids had a blast. This was the first day that they have been outside for over week. One of the twins had pneumonia and spent 4 days in the hospital. The other twin picked it up on Thursday but thankfully, he didn't need to be in the hospital. Both are home on nebulizer treatments.

Hello everyone...We had a great time yesterday. Took our kids to a BBQ and egg hunting, water slides and kiddie pool.

Did anyone order Passporter's? I am still waiting for mine, even though I pre-ordered it last month, ugh. I read the thread from the cruisers who just got back from Cozumel, hey PurpleTart, looks like your snorkeling's a go! Gail, I'll PM you when we get closer to booking time, I want to go to Palo for a brunch and dinner, too; maybe we can get a gang of us DISer's to go for one or the other. I got my costume off ebay, I need to leave the girl feedback, she did an amazing job (custom made) I got Mekayla's off www.deadmentellnotales.com but after she saw mine, she wants me to custom order her one, too from the lady who makes them. I dunno' where all my $$$$ goes

Sirena - VERY nicely done. I have no real creative sense (thus asking my dh to do it instead of volunteering to do it myself!) but I do appreciate the efforts of others!

We should try this with one of those iron-on sheets for your home printer and see how it looks!

We had a nice Easter although it was 95 degrees for the egg hunt!! Then yesterday it was 101 and the same is expected today - the hottest days every recorded in April. Boy, this summer is likely to be a doozy!!

Dh and I are definitely planning at least one dinner and brunch at Palo - hope to be able to add another if they have openings. I would like to go to tea also but dh probably doesn't care one way or another so if anyone would like to go maybe we can have an informal tea "meet" at Palo one day. We would also be up for a group meal (dinner or brunch) at Palo if we can get a group together who is interested.

WldWcnWmn - who did you order your Passporter from? I know that Passporter.com was just starting to send out pre-orders on the 6th (books first and then the deluxes and refill kits) and then the new orders once the preorders were finished. If you ordered from Amazon, they are not shipping until mid-June; I believe that nearly all of the online places are still awaiting initial shipments so they won't be shipping them for a while. I had actually forgotten about the new edition until you mentioned it so now my order for my refill kit with passporter.com is placed so thanks

I have always found Jennifer and Dave at passporter.com to be very helpful so if you don't receive your order soon (if you ordered it from them) then I would send them an email and I am sure they can give you an idea of when to expect it.
