As you know migraines are hereditary. Have you tried Imitrex for relief? I have pain killers when the Imitrex doesn't work, which isn't often but. I have to say that the Imitrex really did change my life. It gave it back to me. I can go on vacation without the fear that I could be stuck in the room for a day or two with a headache. I understand the long list of different meds. I think the last tally of meds I had tried was over 60 different kinds of treatments. I can't even begin to list all the pain meds I have taken. I hope you can find something that works for you, because I know all too well how difficult it can be.

Hello every one, have a great week end. the weather is beautiful here. The solar people have finally fixed the pool so maybe it will warm up now. My baby is going to the senior prom tonight. Oh I am so not ready for this to be the end of his high school year. It has gone way to fast. I just wish them a safe and fun evening.

I am sooooooo jealous of everyone. I want my spring break to start now!!!!!!! DH called me and told me that I wasn't allowed to worry about school or house work all weekend. He's taking me out to a fancy dinner at my favorite resturant, it rivals Palo. And then I am to relax. What was that again? Say it with me, relax!?!?!?!?

Just finished paying off cruise and put alittle on stateroom credit.
Us: me, DH, DD 16 and her best friend also 16. Can't wait to meet everyone and sail away. Anyone heard if we are going to make it to Cozumel?

Hello Everyone!

I haven't been on line for a few weeks and looks like I have missed a lot. Welcome aboard to the new families that have joined us the last couple weeks. Did anyone catch the Travel Channel special on Disney Cruise lines? I manages to see the last four or five minutes by accident yesterday. Does anyone know if it will be back on anytime soon? I noticed that all the ladies are beginning to talk dresses for formal night. I think I have the dress I want picked out. My DD and have been going to Bridal shops. They all have discounted sections where they put unsold dresses at the end of each season. The dresses are new and undamaged and marked down up to 75%.

Oh Gail I didn't even think about that. Great idea. Yesterday I was looking online and DH shocked me by suggesting I go to Norstorms just after some of the local proms that way the prom dresses will be on sale. I think he is sneaking onto the Budget board when I am alseep!

I thought about also. I love the dress that I found. The only reason I have not already bought it is that I would really like to lose some weight and if I do the dress won't fit. My best friend and I are planning to start a diet Monday. Her son starts AAU Basketball and will be practicing in the local high school gym. We are going to meet there in the evenings and walk during practice. She teaches at the high school and her husband is the assistant principal so we will be able to use the weight room and everything if we really get into it. I've thought about buying the dress and if I lose the weight, I can try to get it altered. My DD found a dress that she loves at the same shop, but she wasn't looking on the sale rack. It's beautiful. I'll probably go ahead and buy hers and let it be 1.) her Easter dress; 2.) her dress to wear to the prom (As mentioned our friends work at the local high school, and I always help them with the prom and Project Graduation. Their daughter is the same age as mine and we always take both of them.); and 3.) her formal dress for the cruise. It's easier for me to justify paying full price when she can get that much use out of it. I just hate paying that much for a dress for myself.

I'm right there with ya. I am gonna wait until about June or July to buy a dress, unless I find a super buy.

I think I have to re-introduce myself. A lot of stuff has been posted since I first joined and I am completely out of the loop. Too much to read! I have a few questions:

- Formal night: What does this night entail? Just dressing up for dinner? Guys must wear tux or are suits OK? How about kids?

- Ports of Call: Why was someone asking if we would make it to Cozumel? Has there been any announcements about changes of ports?

- DISers Meet: Is there a time/date/place scheduled for the meet?

- I had asked before but I didn't see any replies: Does anybody have a 4 year old girl who will be joining the OC? My DD didn't want to stay on the last two days b/c she felt alone...Maybe we can start exchanging emails, pics so the girls get to know each other...

- Can anyone recommend a hotel at PC? We stayed at the Radisson last time and I really did not like it. Rooms smelly like mildew, parking always full and had to park very far and walk with baby. Not well kept, IMO.

I think that is all for now. I see you started looking for formal dresses - I am in denial and do not want to think about it until I lose weight. The problem is I'm not doing anything to lose weight. AHHH! Makes me so mad. Can't wait for it all!
