Hi Karen,

We too are going with out kids. My baby is going off to college in August. So this will be a first vacation for us with out kids. I have Parasailed but in Florida not ic CC. It is really a lot of fun. We have late seating also. I like it so we are not rushed after being off the ship all day.

If any of y'all get to missing being with little ones during the cruise, DW & I would be happy to rent you ours for a short period of time while on board! :goodvibes

We also have late seating - don't like rushing to dinner. We've seen the shows multiple times so we probably won't go to most of them - wish they had kept Hercules though.

I hear ya on Herc. We missed it on our first cruise and regretted it. Thankfully we saw it on the second. DH and I love it. But hey there's a new one to look forward too. Amanda will have to tell us how it is form her May cruise.

Hello fellow Castmates!!!!

We will be joining you on our 7th Cruise. We just got off Magic on March 4 and had to hurry home to book another. We will be celebrating our DD 16th birthday! And then our 8th one is planned for April 2007 with a group of friends. I just finished all the laundry from the last trip and my DD asked me if she could pack it already. We just can't seem to get enough of the ship. Looking forward to meeting you all! :cheer2:

Welcome Jeff & Kathy,

Lucky you to live in Orlando. How was your cruise? Was it Eastern or Western? I am anxious to hear about Costa Maya.

You will enjoy this bunch.

We went on the Western with stops in Grand Cayman and Costa Maya. We still wish we were on it though. We didn't really do anything in Costa Maya other then walk around and looked in the shops. From what we saw of it it looked beautiful. The water so blue and there is a nice big salt water pool in the middle of all the shops. Hope this helps a little.

Yes living in Orlando. Only 45 minutes driving time to the Port. We usually get there just as they are letting us in to drop off luggage and park.

They started something new now. When you go through security they hand your group a number and that's how they board the ship. No one waiting in the que line. You can actually walk around and sit in a comfy chair while waiting to board. Once they call your group number they let you on. Much easier and smoothier. No more standing in line for 2 hours. pirate: :hourglass

With the new boarding systerm what is the best time to get there if you want to get on the ship right away?

Early, same as before. For us, part of the fun was waiting in line & being one of the 1st on board and we really don't like the new system that much.

The don't open the terminal or parking lot until 10 or 10:30 so if you plan it to arrive just before that, you can get in line outside & be one of the 1st.

Did you guys see that Disney will announce a new cruise destination on March 21st?
Ohhhh I wonder.....

Yes We are normally there by 10 an but thats what we do....I didnt mind waiting in the cue line but with the new check in its ok as well.... Like we said when we went though the check point(security) thats when they gave us a number and we were Number 3 still getting there that early... they dont give out alot of each number so number 3 was fine by us....We then went straight to parrot cay.I know we Just got off the ship but cant wait for 6 months to go by... I know im wishing the summer away but her you cant help it...LOL.....If you have any questions please feel free to ask us.. Love the ship.. And waiting for my next Konk Cooler....LOL... Have a good one...

when we can make our online ressies for Palo & the Spa? Iwant to make sure our balance is paid in full so I don't miss out on the day.

Do you take you own Alcohol on the boat? If so how much?
We don't. We figure the hassle of lugging it with us far outweighs the cost savings. I also don't want to even think about running back to my cabin whenever I want a drink.

Rumor has been it'll be a Mediterranean cruise. Or at least that's what everyone on the board is saying. I'd love to do it, but it'll be too expensive.
