Also on the Creative Designs section of this board, at the bottom, they have customized designs for cruises, all you do is ask them. There are some really nice ones that people on there have customized for me. And of course- free!!

I love that board! I've "borrowed" ideas from them several times! They also know where to get all the best clip art. That's where I found clip art of each of the princesses with mermaid tails, like my avatar of Mermaid Tinkerbelle!

Okay I changed my room again, I really wanted a cabin on deck 2 with 1 big porthole. I called this morning, and I got one!!! So we went from 1072- 2 portholes to 2644- 1 big one. Does anyone know about that cabin? I checked in the stateroom reports- they said it was loud on the last morning- I'm not too worried though, everyone needs to get up anyway! i wanted to know if it had a steamer trunk?

So when we going to start talking dining rotation preferences (I'm in early seating) and can you tell I'm getting antsy (not about dinner just going).

I feel bad though - we made a decision last year while I was pregnant, that we weren't going to take our son (he will be 9 months). I feel bad more though because he's at that great age where he is just adorable and fun. But I know if we took him we would not have much of anytime to ourselves (husband/myself). Ok - got my vent out...

Woo Hoo, we are cruising NEXT MONTH now!!!!!:cool1: :cheer2:

I know - It's starting to be REAL! :cheer2:
I am actually starting to freak about everything I need to do that I thought I had so much time to, but never got around to yet. Then school starts soon for dd - am not prepared for that either for her. My own fault. :rolleyes1

The dining rotations are 5:30 APL 5:45 PLA and 6pm LAP...Thats according to the Disney cruise line rep I talked to...she also said that she would put us on the 5:45 dining rotation, as she had some other large groups request to be together on the other rotations...I got the email confirmation this morning...she also said that as of Sept 1, they may be moving the dining rotation around, and if so she would contact me.

So that would put us in Lumieres for Formal night, right? Isn't formal night on Sunday?

By the way, is everyone dressing "to the hilt" for formal night? I'm not a ball-gown type of person. More of a cocktail dress type person. Last year I did that, while DH wore his tux and DD wore a floor length formal gown. I would really like to talk DH out of wearing the tux again this year.

Yes, Sunday is formal night.
I haven't decided what I'm wearing yet for formal night - I got out the ballgown I wore on our last cruise (Celebrity) many moons ago, and I must have spilled something on it and not noticed. It won't come out. It was probably a bit out of date anyway. I'll probably use it as a good excuse to get something new. There is a Dillard's Outlet near me and they have a lot of formal dresses - I may try that. DH is going with a dark suit and tie I think.

I am doing more of a cocktail dress, and dh will be wearing a suit. The girls will actually be wearing their costumes from their dance recital. THey are not typical dance recital costumes, and I just love them.

Rik will wear a tux because he hates his suit. I am not sure what I am going to wear. I have nothing for DD yet because she outgrew the outfit from last year.

I am wearing a black knee length dress(with pink accessories), I was going to have my DD wear her xmas dress (black and pink velvet, really pretty on her), my DH and DN wear black suits with pink shirts and black ties(yes pink-and DH was going to wear it) But then I was reading that little girls sometimes wear princess dresses, so we would have DD wear Cinderella dress, DH and DN wearing blue shirts with black ties, and me with the same black dress, blue accessories. What do you guys think, my DH said he will wear whatever I want him to, and I can't decide.:goodvibes

So, you all are going with what matches DD's dress? :goodvibes princess: I TOTALLY understand! I suppose I would base it on if one of the dresses (Christmas vs. Cinderella) would be better for the weather or if that made a difference. Also, does she (or you) like one of them better over the other? I don't think you can go wrong either way.
I forgot to mention our dd4.5 will be in either her Snow White or Cinderella costume on formal night. She loves them both; while Snow White is her favorite DP, the Cinderella dress has more of a "ballgown" feel. We are bringing both. She may end up in them every night at this rate. :cutie:

We'll probably just wing it- see what happens that night. The Cindy one is so pretty- if she does wear it I think I'll let her wear a tank underneath- just in case it's itchy. Also, we are going to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in WDW for her bday the week before, and doing dinner with the princesses- she may get it dirty. I guess we'll see. We are also bringing Snow White- it's not as pretty as her xmas dress or Cindy dress. So many decisions- and it's next month!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Here is the xmas dress:

I really wish they did something like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the ship...the little girls could get all dolled up for formal night!
