Tigger&Bubba said:No Problem! I totally understand. On one of our cruises we were almost moved in on when a couple at our table found out we were in an upper category stateroom. Weird people are everywhere. That is why we have "Dis"claimers and stress everything is voluntary. Participate as much or as little as you want. It's your vacation. We spent much of our time in our stateroom this last trip. (even if it doesn't sound like it.) Skipped both formal nights, even though Lamar had his tux and I brought two gowns.![]()
There is always so much to do you can't do everything. We didn't want to do it all.
Don't be surprised if you find gifts in your stateroom though. That could happen when you have a stateroom attendant.Fish extender or not.
Thanks, I knew people would understand. I work nights and DH works days so vacation is time alone for us. We don't see much of each other working like that. I know what you mean about weird people everywhere. Luckily you can usually tell those types right off. We don't have children so when we eat out we usually sit at the bar. Think Applebees or TGI Fridays. There is always someone that we both look at each other and say "NO EYE CONTACT". We have had to eat and leave before because someone won't shut up. We always chat with people at the bar but some you can turn your back on and they still don't get it. DH talks sports and some guys will talk at him till he has to say. "Excuse me but I would like to talk with my wife"
Even then some people don't get it.
Fish extender or not.

And Congratulations Patrick.

We loved the Wonder last year but it was just not long enough. I am looking forward to sailing on the Magic. This time we are leaving the kids at home. DH and I are celebrating our 5 yr anniversary next fall and definately looking forward to some alone time

We usually cruise with our kids, but always take a week alone in September. Best decision we have ever made...although it does mean we are missing a couple of high school golf matches!
We have found that it is great for our relationship and that the kids actually respect the fact that we take the time! The last few years, that solo week has become an additional cruise! Can it get any better??? Of course, as we go through the week we talk about all the things they would be doing at certain times and we miss them terribly! But we are always able to find something else to do!
) and have family and friends coming.....it is so exciting!!!!!

But I can understand wanting to look your best! I am feeling that too! Looking and FEELING good on the cruise is so important to me.....especially since we are having our wedding cermony onboard and those will be the photos I have been waiting for!
That is so cool! But I think I will wait till summer! Gotta drop a few sizes first......
