Just want to say hello. Me(dh), my dw, and dd4(turning 5) will be joining you on the 15th eastern. This is our 3rd Dis Cruise. (7nt land and Sea 05, and 7nt western 06,) I have enjoyed reading the thread and look foreward to the next 3 weeks and finally boarding on the 15th. We are flying in on the 14th and staying at the Ron Jon resort at Cape Canaveral for the one night. Does anyone have any info on the resort or any don't miss things to do in Cocoa Beach. Another question. How do I find out my dining rotation? I read that some of you already know which one you have. We are in the late seating and hope to be seated with a like family (dh, dw, dd4 or 5). Anyway thanks for letting me in your discussion.

Glad you found us. We are neat group of people and I think you will like us. I also have a dd who just turned 5.

We requested a certain rotation. I know that does not mean we will get it but hopefully. I don't know how people know for sure?

We have a 9:00 at Chef Mickey's and then the limo pick's us up at the contemporary at 10:30. We decided to to get to the port a little later because we are going to MNSSHP the night before and it will be a late night. We need to sleep in a little.

Welcome to our group! We have early seating, but maybe our kids will meet up in the clubs! There are quite a few DD4 or DD5 on the cruise on here, my DD will be turning 5 the week before the cruise I see you're from Philly, my DS lives in Garnet Valley, Pa.(between Wilmington and Philly)

I just called DCL, still no room assignment for us yet She said try calling back around September 1st. But I did at least get some news, we have 2nd seating for dinner That is what we were hoping for, she even asked if I prefered 8:00, 8:15, or 8:30 and what table size we would like. It doesn't really matter which seating as long as it is late for us.

Only25 more days!!!!!!

Another big welcome!!!! Can't comment on Cocoa Beach, but there is a LOT of info out there regarding that. One decent thread for info is: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1520273
We will have a dd 4 1/2 onboard too - hopefully we can all meet up. There are quite a number of outings planned. We do have early dining, as dd would NEVER last until 8 to eat (we may not either at this point anymore. ) I think it is going to be a fantastic trip!

LoriS We don't have our room assignment yet. At this point I'd sleep in the janitor's closet......I JUST WANT TO GO.

We don't know our dining rotation, seating, room, or anything...DN kamgen is handling everything for us. Now if I could just talk her into packing for me I'd be all set.

Good morning! Cannot wait to get my docs...makes it so REAL!!

I have to share since most of you know I have been trying so hard to lose weight in time for the trip....this weekend was awful shopping for the cruise...I was so discouraged and how I looked and how things fit (or should I say, didnt fit!). But this morning I got a little boost...I weighed in and lost 3lbs!!! I am so shocked and happy!!
I cannot reach my initial goal by cruise time, but figure I should lose at least another 5 lbs, which would put me at 45lbs lost....so I need to start being happy and proud of myself and not focus so much on what I didnt do...
okay there, had to share that with my DIS friends

Back to cruising....can we go now?!?!?!
