Yep, we've all got so much obsessive-cruise-planning stuff to do! And then sometimes real life tries to interfere! "What? I don't have time to work! I have to read the DisBoards for the 27th time today! I've got fish extenders to make! I've got to get packing, I only have a MONTH to go!"

Work? What is that?? I've been in vacation mode for a week or so, and at work I find myself looking at Disboards, Disney Cruise Line, and other Disney related sites. I am sooooo ready for this cruise...bring it on!! I keep filling the suitcase more every day!!!...Only 1 days til we leave!!!

Thanks, We were one of the last families to visit with the characters at Doorway to Dreams, and they were extra friendly and playful with us...I honestly believe that we received more interaction there, then at a character meal.

What is Doorway to Dreams? You mean there is something Disney that I don't know about? I must go Google it now!

ETA: I just Googled it (you thought I was kidding?), and I see that it is a DVC thing. I haven't been able to talk DH into DVC. When we go to WDW, we either stay onsite at Shades of Green, or offsite at a timeshare.

Hello all! We are getting down to the wire and I haven't done ANYTHING yet. Seriously, nothing. I need to get around to making a fish extender and do a packing list and go shopping for a swimsuit and...oh wow. Too much to do.

Not too much going on in my neck of the woods. My cellphone went kaput over the weekend, which freaked me out. Fortunately, I was eligible for an upgrade...to a free Razr phone. I am in love with my new phone. Unfortunately, the old phone fried my SIM card, so I have to re-enter all my phone numbers. Oh well, can't have everything.

DS is starting kindergarten in a few weeks and I am incredibly freaked out about this fact. My baby! I'll have to prod DH and make him get on here again. That slacker!

I got my razr for Mother's Day... I love it and the color too.... HOT PINK!!
I love the bigger screen, nice for my old eyes. Pics on it are nice, much better then my old phone.
Enjoy the phone.

I have 23 days to finish up all on my "LIST" and today is very windy, it's not very nice at 114 that's it's been predicted. So onward towards packing or cleaning the house

Hello all! We are getting down to the wire and I haven't done ANYTHING yet. Seriously, nothing. I need to get around to making a fish extender and do a packing list and go shopping for a swimsuit and...oh wow. Too much to do.

Same thing happened to me, got new free razr phone, had to input all of the numbers!! I got pink, then got a pink and white Mickey cover off ebay, so cute!! I love being able to take pics too, never had a pic phone. My work gave my department tickets to the Baltimore Raven's expedition game last night, SKYBOX!! I took pics and sent them to my DH's phone while he was at work, he was so jealous!!!

Sorry that I have not been around a lot lately. I homeschool both of our daughters. We started school yesterday. So when we got back from DC I had to unpack, wash, and get our school room ready. I love homeschooling, but it does tie up most of my day. (8:30 - 3:30. We are on lunch break now.) The flexibility for vacation is a great benefit! We are starting a couple of weeks earlier than our local school system so that we can take off the week of our cruise.
I am trying to keep up reading our thread. I just don't have as much time to post.
BTW, I don't have a fish extender. DH thought I was nuts when I mentioned making one.

Sorry I have been AWOL lately too - Had to do back to school shopping for dd. CRAZY!!! By the look of the aisles, you would have thought a pack of wild dogs just went through. Finally all done with that. Our internet connection was down for two days due to a big storm that went through. I feel like a real person again now that we are re-connected.
I haven't started packing a thing yet, and need to find that master list somewhere. I have our fish extender, but I suppose I need to put our cabin number on so it doesn't "sail away". I have been putting it off in case we magically get upgraded. I seriously doubt we would, as we are in a Navigator's Verandah room. Guess we can always hope!

I have SO much respect for all you parents that homeschool . What a terrific thing you do for your children! I wish I could, but I'm afraid my DD and I would kill each other. We already nearly come to blows over homework! And she is a smart kid, makes almost all A's at the private school she goes to.

Courtney will be 4 while we are on the cruise and Cassidy will be 7 the week after we got home. I have been homeschooling right from the start. The cut off for school in FL is September 1st, so they both miss it and I could not see making them wait to start Kindergarten until they were almost 6.

I chose to homeschool because we moved to Venezuela when my oldest DD was just about to enter school. I had taught four years in public school and two years in private school. When I found out we were moving to another country I got concerned about DD's education. Since I didn't know much about schools in Venezuela, I decided to homeschool. It worked out so well for us that I decided to continue even once we moved back to the states.
I just like the flexibility that it offers us since we like to travel. Many times we bring our books along on trips. (BTW, I use the A Beka curriculum.)

I have not started packing yet. I do have a list going, though.
I want to get an Aquapac (http://www.rei.com/product/752166) for the beach. Our local REI does not carry it in stock. I can order it online, but I was hoping that another store might carry it. I am still on the lookout for that.
