Question- will you have a list for everyone about the fish extenders and who is in it or do we need to print that out ourselves?? Wasnt sure if you were doing that or not and giving it at the first meet.....not that I am trying to give you more work!

Good question - I was wondering as well. I just got done grabbing items for the fish extender gifts and I based it upon how many staterooms total there were on the fish extender list. (BTW KAM - I didn't see your stateroom # listed - just TBD).

Kammy - I had not planned on bringing a list but I can certainly run off copies and bring them to the first Dis Meet for everyone... (well I will bring enough for everyone on the fish extender list and a few extra....) PM me with your stateroom numbers again and I will make sure it is on the list...

We have 3 people total in 2 cabins (yeah, I know, but we like our space!). So you can just put 6018 on the fish extender list, and 3 people in it (2 adults, 1 child who thinks she's an adult ).

I had just planned on printing out my own list somehow before we leave - so I know we have enought goodies. Is it one "thing" per time per person or per cabin? If I have enough time I would put the "from" on them, but I don't know if I will - not looking like that. Is it ok if I just sneak them in?

I'm sure dd will want to go swimming if we are at the Mickey pool, so I may not be in the lime green t-shirt after all at the meet - maybe my swimsuit. It is what it is at this point! One of my suits has a lime green stripe it. Is that ok?!

We haven't actually started packing - just got the suitcases out.

Everyone - don't forget to sign up for the tequila or wine tastings! I hope they have an '80's night too.

Good morning everyone!
It has been a crazy weekend. We had DD's birthday party Friday night. On Saturday we dropped DH off at the airport and hit TWO malls!!!! I have been searching for dresses for DDs to wear for that wedding. We will only be home from the cruise 5 days before we leave for LA for the wedding. I finally found both dresses. However, we have to have one altered. I will leave after school today to go to the tailor shop. I hope it can be sewn in time.
I found DDs boots for their pirate outfits while at the mall. I also bought their waterproof, disposable cameras this weekend. I still have a few little things to pick up, but nothing major. I have not started the official packing, but I have things put out in piles in our guest bedroom.
I will not be wearing lime green to the meet on Saturday. I hope that is ok. I don't have any lime green clothing (not to self.........buy lime green clothing!!!!!!), but I do have the lime green ribbons on all suitcases, camera case, etc. I also have the lime green Mickey heads on all bags.

We havent started packing either. I started organizing the clothes, but I need to get going...we leave on Thursday!
Still have to run some errands, pack, clean my house, etc....UGH!
I wont have on lime green either since I have no clue what I am wearing the first day!!! More choices to make...oh crap!

We are interested in doing the wine tasting...do you sign up for that when you board? I dont remember since I havent cruised since 2004!

We are new to this site,,, will be on the 15th cruise... this will be our 5th cruise and lok fwd to meeting others as well... have two girls (7,9).

Welcome!!! I have 2 DD's also, 8 and 11! So there will be plenty of friends on board!

Happy Monday, all!!! I see it wasnt that busy this weekend, I think everyone is trying to get all their packing and last minute things done. I packed almost everything yesterday, the kids were packed for a few already, and now I am fully packed, that just leaves the last of Tims things are we are ready!!! Both Tim and I have to work late Thursday evening, so everything has to be in place on Wednesday for us.

As far as the wine tasting, how do we sign up for that? We are interested in that!!!!

Yes, you sign up onboard. I think they are around $15 ? If past navigators run true (from Feb) there is just one tequila/margarita tasting: Monday at 4. There were three wine tastings to choose from; Sun., Mon. and Thurs. all at 2 pm. I think we will either do Sun. or Thurs - don't want to switch from wine to tequila within the same afternoon span!!!!!!
We love wine tastings and frequently go to the local wineries here. DH & I like different wines completely, so we always try to find one we can both enjoy.... we just keep on trying.

We are also interested in Wine Tasting so when we get on board if someone finds out (including us) when it is and how to sign up can you let us all know?

Question - btw - I am going to take an extra duffel bag with us to pack water we purchase at the store. Can I bring some snacks as well onboard?

We got Sydney (our daughters) packing done last night. Shannon (husband) and I have started gathering clothes for ourselves. We probably won't get done till Thursday night (we leave 620 on Friday morning).

Hi all...

We did the wine tasting on our last cruise. Very informative to us since we're not huge drinkers. We actually felt a little out of place - kind of like Jethro and Elly May Clampett in a room full of wine connoisseurs. Still enjoyed ourselves though. We just settled in, sipped and listened.

We are planning on taking another "tasting" on this cruise. I like the sound of a tequila tasting. I'd heard mention in the past of a martini tasting. Like I said, we're not huge drinkers so we do "tastings" as learning experiences.

Spent the weekend sewing pirate attire. I'm starting to feel the crunch now. Too much to do and too little time to do it. So wish I didn't have to work this week!

We are packing some movie snacks. Stuff that won't melt in our luggage - like Twizzlers and Hot Tamales. Movie goodies are incredibly expensive on the ship so I highly recommend packing a little "goodie bag".

Great ideas about the movie snacks Julie!!! I have so much to think about with baby food that I forgot things we might want!!!
Anjelica- sent you a pm. I am hoping someone posts the Navigators too! We need to decide what other times we want to try and get Flounders so knowing when things are would be nice.

Just last night DH said he wanted to do the wine tasting!!! So we plan to hit that one too if we can!

I don't know if they still offer it, but after you complete the wine tasting, they give you a trading pin. It says Stem to Stern and has grapes (If I'm remembering right). So, if you're a pin collector, yet another reason to take part. I pinned mine to my DCL lanyard... not sure what my DH did with his.

I hope we see alot of fish extenders. I keep finding little goodie bags that I've tucked away from hubby. I have a suitcase full.

No, I posted a message on the main board a couple of weeks ago. I got a bunch of people sending me messages saying if I would gather navigators when we go, they would like to see them.

I even tried to get someone on the Eastern that left on Sept 1 to gather navigators, but I guess no one was interested in helping .

I noticed you did that, and was very thankful. I hope someone comes through fast! Maybe now that they are unpacked............
