KellyJean, we've always sailed w/a veranda too, but for this cruise I figured it was short, so it wouldn't get too bad. As you said, there'll be lots to do with lots of great people, plus the 2 stops at CC. And we're also on deck 2, so we'll be neighbors. Now, we did get a navigator's veranda for the 14-day transatlantic 'cause I didn't think I'd care for 2 weeks w/o a view
.
Glad to see I won't be down in the dungeon alone! I was just happy to get something booked for this Member's Cruise. Its my first one and I was so nervous that first day of booking that I wouldn't get in. So I won't complain about my inside stateroom.
I have a veranda on the Transatlantic too. No way I would last 14 days without it! Its so cool that we'll both be on both those cruises!![]()
Now we just have to hope that NEXT years Member's Cruise doesn't conflict with the Transatlantic!
We have done just the opposite for these two cruises, I will probably wish we had done it the other way. I just figured that on the longer cruise that I would try to spend as little time as possible in the room. On the MC we got the veranda for adding on last year, other than that the only time we were in our cabin last year was to sleep or shower and change clothes so I would not have chosen a veranda.
It will be nice to get to know people before we do the long cruise!
