My 2006 scrapbook is now finished! :cheer2: It ended up being 62 pages of which 33 were done this weekend. I love some of the pages, not so thrilled with others but they are done. I will say I think the book would have a different look if I had done it back in 2006 or early 2007 but that's ok. Next up is 2007 which I hope to do next weekend. Then I may take a short break before I tackle 2008. I do want to have that one done before our next vacation which is in May.

Wow Mary you really tackled scrapping this weekend. :thumbsup2 Now that mine are done and so are most of yours we will have to plane as to meet. I am sure I can get some tips from yours.

Is your vacation in May and thing special besides Disney?

Have a great evening.

Speaking of things being crazy at work...I know that now that the holidays are behind us I'm going to get a lot busier. Which means that while I'll still be here every day I may be rushed. That means I could forget a birthday - something I wouldn't want to happen. Soooooo what I'm going to do is post the group birthdays (for those who gave them to me for the website) around the first of each month. Then we can all do our best to give celebration on the actual day.

1/5 - Nick (aka Buckeyenick - son of Karen - Ohiominnie) Also known as Mark's Smoothie Son

1/8 - Corey (DH of Marsha - BigDogHu75)

1/9 - Jim (aka jimmiecinpa)

1/16 - Kenna (aka NYJets 20032)

Mary Thanks for posting this! I will print it out each month as a reminder.

Flo - we'll definitely have to plan to a time and place to get together. I'd love to see your books and I always like getting feedback on my own. I'll even bring the circle journal our 2006 group did as you can see a lot of different techniques there as each spread was done by a different person.

Mark and I try to do something different with each trip. For me we'll be staying in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness for the first time! I'm really excited to try them. We took advantage of the book 4 get 3 free deal so we'll be down there for a week. Best of all we get to see our friends the Patrick's (ohiominnie and family). Looking for this to be a relaxing trip.

Check out how big Bolt has gotten in 2 weeks.

That is great that you got to take advantage of the 4 get 3 deal. More money to spend at Disney.:) and extra special because you get to see ohiominnie and family. By then the way the weather has been here you are going need a relaxing trip.

He is so beautiful! One of my DDs has a GS, but his face has a lot more brown than black. Bolt is one good-looking fella.

Thanks Joanne! Him and my 7 year old German Shepard are finally starting to play together. I guess Lexie figured he is not going any were so she might as well get used to him.

take Care

How big is your other Shepard? How long before Bolt is full grown?

My other Shepard is a Female and is 7 years old. SHe is 85LBS that is about normal for one. Bolt should be full grown by the time he is a year and 1/2.

Must be a handful, our kids our bugging us to get a cat, but we aren't home enough to have a dependent pet. They just don't seem to understand that they are in school and have afterschool activities and my wife and I both are gone at work all day. Any pet would be home all day with no company, not my idea of being fair.

I can understand that. It was a good time for us to get a puppy, Unfortunately that is because I am out of work. So during the day he is out and only goes in the cage at night right now. In a few week he will be out of his cage all the time. Right now that is the only time my female gets to rest is when he is in the cage.

Sorry to hear that you are out of work, but that does work out well for training and spending time with a new Pup. I wish I could just say yes to the kids, but sometimes we can't.

A cat would love that you're gone all day! :) 99% of the time my cat couldn't care less if we were gone. The other 1% he's bugging us for food or to go outside on the lanai. I think he only keeps us around because we have opposable digits.

Thanks! I am hoping that since this is a new year I will get a job. I have never been out of work.

I like that on why he keeps you around. I some times think the dogs keep us around for the same reason.
