Let's here it for nice quiet days! :)

Today we're going to a cookout at the new neighborhood. It's sort of a drop in anytime between 12 and 7 thing. Mike is at work so it'll just be me and the kids.

Gotta run to the grocery store.

Start thinking about what I need to pack up for our trek to Ohio on Wednesday.

Probably play a round of Killer Bunnies

Member Gallery Update!

No I don't have any new names to add this time, but if you haven't sent in your info yet please do so!

I've added the deck plans to the gallery. Now when you are looking at the picture gallery you'll notice that the cabin numbers are hyperlinks. Click on cab number and it will take you to a deck plan of that deck. You'll see the DIS cabins are highlighted in lime green and there is a mini gallery showing who is on your floor. Now you can see who your neighbors are!

Thanks Mary

I can't believe Christmas is only ten days away! The good news is that DS as given a few days off before the holidays so I have already taken care of his airline tickets. He will fly in very early on the 23rd and fly out early on the 26th since he needs to be back in work by noon. I amjust so excited to see him and can't wait for they next week to get here!

We will be celebrating Christmasat our house and still need to order the Honey Baked Ham. I won't be able to do much this year but everyone has said they will pitch in. Looks like it could be around 20 people or so. That should be a lot of fun

Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Thanks for the well wishes Flo. Mark is out salting our driveway right now. So hopefully when we leave around 7 we'll get some traction. I'm going to take it slow walking today. Hopefully all the buildings will salt but you just can't tell.

Annmarie - that is great news that your son can be home with you for the holiday!

Mary,

My DH leaves for work at 4:30 and it usualy take him 20 minutes because no one is out at that time. It took him aobut 45 today. I called to make sure he made it. You could tell by his voice it had to be nerver racking. My DS just leaft. We have a 2 car garage so his car is outside. It took him about 20 minutes to get the ice off his wingows. But he is young.:)

Here is some :wizard: that is is the last day you have to go down town to work.

take care

Thanks Flo - Mark's car is outside as well so he's going to let it warm up before trying to scrape the windows. I'm really hoping this is my last day on the trial. Especially since tomorrow is our pot luck at work and I don't want to miss that since I already missed the holiday lunch.

Hi! :wave2: It's been a long time since last Thursday. So glad to be at work to catch up today. Hopefully our internet will be fixed by the time I get home tomorrow night.

Well, Friday's shopping trip with my sister turned out to be a bust. She got very, very sick  on Thursday night so she was unable to go. I went anyway, but it just wasn't fun without her. I got my shopping done then went back home to do so wrapping before going to my youngest daughters basketball game.

Bummer to hear about the ice in the NE and in Illinois. We had our share last week. Today on the way to work our themometer on the car said -5. Today's high is only supposed to be 6 above. Brrrrrrrr.

Mary, I am a huge Survivor fan. I'm so glad of the outcome last night. He definitely deserved it I thought. The other two, not so much.

Well, have a nice Monday everyone and safe travels for those with the icy conditions. :flower3:

Hi everyone! I got back from WDW last night. The good news is that the power was back on my house when I got home. The bad news is that it hadn't been on for long (maybe an hour or 2) so it was still very cold and I threw out everything in my freezer this morning since stuff had started to thaw.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We always opened multiple presents on Christmas Eve. Before my sisters had kids, we would always celebrate Christmas Eve with my mothers side of the family and then Christmas day with my fathers. Now, we celebrate on Christmas Eve because my sisters spend Christmas day with their husbands families.

Just thought I would pop in for a sec and say hi and I'm back at home, for now. It was a great 12 days down in warmer temps and the cruise was awesome. Karen and I did the most relaxing cruise I've ever had - it was fun and it was good to see some of the crew on the Magic that remembered us and that we had good times with. Christian, the cruise director, was on there too and we had a fun time talking with him. That head server I had mentioned earlier wanted the website so I wrote it down and gave it to him - so who knows if he'll post or not but he thought everyone was a lot of fun!

Stay warm everyone - I hear it could be a crazy weather week!

The world was great! The temperature varied a lot and there were a couple of 43 degree mornings but I had an awesome time. I loved all of the decorations and I had an awesome time at Mousefest! I met so many DISers that I can't remember all of their names. I think that I am going to go back next year at the same time.
