Yes, I did see the Lights of Winter. It was really cool.

The castle is realy amazing! I was also able to see the castle lighting ceremony which was neat.

Today I am doing the Yuletime Fantasy Tour.

I saw the Youtube video of the castle lightning from last year...so beautiful! I can't wait to be able to go one year at Christmas time. My dh works retail, so it might be a while before we are able to

I forget the..exact reason he appeared other then I threw it out there on the 2008 member cruise thread. A bunch of cruisers picked it up and made it all their own.

Hey all! Been crazy here. My computer is down for the count right now so I have limited internet surfing time. I do have access to my email and Facebook on my iPhone, but surfing is a bit time consuming on that, so I don't do it much.

Also found a sectional for our new house. They'll hold it until we move in.

And today we were at Sears for something totally unrelated and we ended up buying our fridge, washer and dryer. We'll get 30% back in rebates so that will buy our flat screen for our media room! Yeah! And they'll hold them until we move in too!

Just waiting for one more package to arrive and then we'll celebrate Christmas here--Probably this Wednesday. The kids and I are heading to Ohio on the 17th and will be gone for 10 days. So we're opting to do our celebration early.

House is coming along. Most of our siding is on, great progress on the pool, drywall is up and taped. They plan to paint and put in cabinets next week! Wow!

That's it for now. Hoping to get my computer fixed in the next couple of days.

Hi everyone! Checking in after a day of jury duty....I got picked. So now I'm on a jury that is supposed to go until next Tuesday. So I'm missing my company holiday party (it is tomorrow afternoon at Wildfire) and I'm missing my day off on Friday when I was supposed to be cleaning the house for some friends coming over Saturday. Guess I'll be busy in the mornings and the evenings. Not really what I needed right now but it is what it is.

Flo I just accepted you as a friend and sent a suggestion to all the other DISers I'm friends with who are cruising with us.

Karen - sorry to hear about the computer problem. I'm so sad though that you didn't buy your appliances from Appliance Direct!

As for the bunny with the pancake. Well Mark has used that little smilie for a long time. One day on the 2008 thread we were talking about something and he threw it in. It was a big hit. Then one night in chat one of the ladies talked about her name at the adventures club and how we should have name...So Trixie, Dixie, Pixie and Mixie were born. We dubbed ourselves the pancake sisters. Then we talked about meeting at Beach Blanket one day and putting pancakes on our head. Well we had the opportunity in Palo at Brunch. Three of them were in the private room. We asked waiter for pancakes and waxed paper and this is what we got:

The other ladies are all on the 10/24/09 BOB cruise and have added some more pancake sisters. So the bunny is in my signature as a not to my pancake sisters.

Jury duty is ok so far. Interesting at least. Of course I can't talk about the case until it is over.

BOB stands for Bash on the Boat. It is a very active group and looks like a fun one. I know that a lot of last years Member Cruisers wanted a longer sailing than the 4 days so went with that one.

Hello everyone from the Disney Magic!

Thought I would pop on and tell you all that the Head Server (name escapes me at the moment) from the Member Cruise who so wanted a Swan and was presented with one is on the Magic now. He recognized Karen and I as being familiar so we started chatting.

Having a great time - beautiful weather and having a good time with new friends and old. Stay warm up there!

Well, my DH found out last night that our internet provider did an upgrade and now we have to upgrade our modem and stuff at home. Hopefully, sometime today things can be arranged so we can have internet back at home.

Mary - good luck with the jury duty thing. What a bummer to miss your party and day off.

Flo - be prepared for the weather. We didn't get the snow like they talked about but we did get ICE. We live out in the country down by the river and have a couple big hills to go up and down to get to town where we work. It was a scary drive this morning. Thank goodness the DH was driving. But he does drive way to fast. Only seen one car in the ditch on its top. And the weather is headed your way. Some parts in Northern Iowa got up to 5 inches of snow. So, stay safe all that are in Illinois.

Chris, we have had rain here since about midnight. It is still raining now. This afternoon it is supposed to change to snow. They are saying 1 to 2 inches. But the wind is supposed be 25. That is going to be a killer.

Glad you made it to work. That has to be scary with the hills and that.
