It is a beautiful morning, a bit brisk but nice. It is supposed to be in the 40’s here. SO that is nice.

As soon as everyone gets up (DS still sleeping) we will go out and get are Christmas tree. I can’t wait. I love the smell of a real tree.

Flo - Do you guys cut your own tree down or do you buy a pre-cut tree? We have an artificial one but one year we went out and cut our tree from a tree farm. That was fun, but the tree was a lot bigger when we got it home compared to where we cut it. Lots of trimming that year.

I would love to cut one down but we don't. We go to Home Depot. We have found through the years that they have great trees and for a good price. We have looked at other places but some are double what we pay at home Depot.

Hiya Everybody!

Just checking in to say hello to my old SSMC08 friends as well as all the new folks that will be cruising on SSMC09!

I am an alumnus of the SSMC08 cruise (unfortunately, due to family commitments, I will not be joining you this year ) . For those of you who are sailing on your first DVC Member Cruise, you are in for a real treat! You have so much fun in store, sailing with your DVC family. And DVC has so many surprises in store for you!

I hope you all have as much fun as we did this year. The more you participate on this thread, the more fun you will have meeting up with your fellow DISers. I can't tell you how much fun it was to arrive at the cruise terminal and know so many people already!

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride - the time will go faster than you think! You are in great hands with Mary & Mark, they will take good care of you.

And don't be surprised if I swoop in for an occasional pirate run (I was the 2nd place winner for Swan's this year!) I have a way of sensing when the wind is shifting...

How is everyone doing this afternoon? I'm packed and ready to go tomorrow morning for my flight to MN. I'm going to try and check in each day. Depends on how wiped I am from training and what kind of connection I can get on my PDA.

Of course I'll be on tomorrow morning to do the countdown.

I'm also excited that I'm going to be able to meet Flo in a week! The DIS is having a DIS meet at the Doorway to Dreams store and we've both signed up.

Hi! I am sitting here trying to get ready for my WDW trip on Wednesday. So far, I have scheduled my spa treatments for a week from today and gotten my cameras ready. Next I need to log in my pins from my last trip so that I can get ready for more pin trading.

This morning when I was out shopping I stopped by the Disney Store and noticed that a lot of their toys are 40% off. I ended up picking up a bunch for our toys for tots drive at work. So, if you are looking for Disney toys for Christmas, then you may want to stop by your Disney Store to take advantage of the sale.

I ended up selecting the stone massage plus the deluxe facial. I was looking at the packages but decided to make my own combo instead.

You will love the stone massage it is so relaxing. Me and the DH did one on our Eastern cruise in 2005. Wow! Enjoy.

We got lucky here in the northwest burbs of IL. It is snowing here but melting. But they say tonight. So who knows.

Did anyone else see about the Wonder at PC today? They broke away from the moorings and the gangways fell. Luckily it is reported that no one was hurt. Thoughts go out to those who are on board.

I read that and saw the pictures that some one postef. Thank God no one got hurt. Hope the cruise turns out to be great after the way it started.

I wondered if they'd be ok there. We had some pretty bad storms with tornado warnings here and then I heard they were moving east.
