Do you decorate your tree yourself? Or do you have a group of friends/family come over to help you?

Like you, I love ornaments and enjoy remembering the significance/where I bought each one. Up until the past couple of years when everyone has gotten too busy, I would invite my sisters, their kids and maybe a friend or 2 to help decorating the tree. Basically, I would make a party out of it with music, food and lots of ornaments.

Nope just me (and Mark when he is home but he was working today).

The party sounds like fun but it just isn't us.

Hi Flo,
We had a great Thanksgiving. It was the 4 of us (Michael, our daughter Amanda, Michael's mother Rosemary and myself). Our Christmas decorating will start next weekend when we get our tree. Can't wait to start decorating.

It isn't very readable, if you are trying to see the cabin numbers.
On the disney cruise line site, you can click on "tour the ship" (on the right), and zoom in the different levels (and see cabin numbers)...
I didn't read all the posts, so not sure if that will help.

I love all the memories too...I am still at the stage with many helpers to decorate the tree! This year, my youngest one (4) helped out with the lights and the decorations, did it with her dad while I was out and surprised me!
We have a new kitten in our house, so we didn't put anything breakables. She has gone up the tree yet, but she loves to lay down on the tree skirt

Happy Post Thanksgiving everyone. I have been rather busy here at home and just caught up on five pages of posts. I didn't realize I had been off the computer that much till I got on tonight. I'm glad to hear everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday. Ours was pretty good here. It was my family, my sisters family, one aunt, one cousin and her daughter. We had enough food to feed twice as many people, and it was good.

Today we started out putting up the tree. Got the lights and garland on, then the DH decided we should go shopping. Oh, boy. We didn't even leave home till after noon, and the crowds were not that bad. It was funny when we went to Kohl's because a couple of the items we bought we thought the prices were different, lower, than what rang up and when we said something to the clerk she just lowered the price to what we said. I was like, huh? Because a couple of things I wouldn't have gotten, but when she just said ok and gave them to us at the lower price. . . I didn't know what to think. One of my DD's said they were just selling to get it out the door.

How crazy!!!!!!! So tomorrow I will try to finish decorating the house, because next weekend we are having a family Christmas here. So soon, I know, but it is my big side. At least around 35-40 people.
