Ok! How does everyone put more then one quote in a post? I have yet to figure that one out.

BTW one rule that Gary put in place last year which I think is a good one is that Pirates and Swans should be gathered by regular chatting not post after post by the same person.

Well, I guess that I asked my question on day early. My cruise documentation arrived via regular mail today. Actually for some reason, I got 2 copies.

Night all! It has been a long day with being on hold for so long. Not that it was not worth it.

I just sent radisson cape canaveral florida an e mail to see if we could get a group rate. Not sure what any one is doing I just wanted to see. I figure it does not hurt to ask.

We do the same thing now, travel without kids, as our anniversary is in Sept. as well. It works out well, as there are less kids on this cruise anyway and our kids used to hang with us if there wasn't anyone in their age groups. We told them 2 years ago that the members cruise will be a Mom and Dad cruise from now on! (We do take them on another cruise to make up for it!)

I can't wait to show the girls your message so they can see we aren't the only parents doing a parents only vacation. This next year we won't be able to take them on a cruise as well, but we are taking them to Disney in June for Star Wars Weekend Our oldest loves that stuff.

Our "kids" are now 18 & 20 and we are just now starting to take vacations without them, and it feels odd. Their schools and work keep them awfully busy. So anyway this will be the first cruise without being with immediate family, so I hope this extended family can handle us.

We finally sent in our applications for passports yesterday, and were told the wait time is only around 2 - 3 weeks.

No docs yet, but we received our confirmation docs to Vero Beach within 4 days. (we made that reservation at the same time as the cruise reservation).

So we are staying 1 night at AKV - Kidani on Saturday, DCL shuttle to the port, cruise through Thursday, Enterprise rent a car, (they will pick us up), Vero through Sunday drop off car rental at airport, and then go home to get some rest.
I think my vacation is all set, now all we have to do is wait ... wait ... wait

Boy! You have been a chatty bunch I've been offline for 2 days and have 7 pages to get caught up on.

Has anyone received any documentation on their reservation yet? The CM told me that stuff would be sent out via UPS but nothing yet here.

We received ours today by USPS. No special delivery here. We received our pre- and post-documents ealier this week.

I think we are all in.

It'll be me - Ted, DW Karen and if it works out, DD Alexandra who'll be 14 at the time.

aboard! We are staying at BCV pre- and post-cruise although DH is thinking maybe we should do a back-to-back but I haven't decided yet.

Okay, so I have figured out that we will have enough points (especially since I added on to AKV) for us to stay at Disney a day or two before we set sail. Once we fly into Orlando, will we be able to use the ME to take us to our resort?

Am I correct that the ME is not available to take those who stay at Disney before the cruise to the port? I guess that is why we need the bus.

You can use DCL to take you back and forth from WDW to the port but it is very expensive. When we did SSMC06, someone organized the bus and we had a lot of fun.
