Flo - I was sorry to read about the job offer not coming through. I'm sorry I didn't post earlier. Do you have anything other options you're working on? It is tough out there right now!!! Its so sad to see so many others in this same position. I never, EVER though I would've lost my job either. I have a feeling we have a long road ahead of us, but at least we know we've got our vacation secured.....I mean, ya gotta have priorities, right?

Kelly,

I look every day!:) Yes ,we have the vacation but if I really want to have a good time I need to be working. I am not used to this. Can't go shopping no money. At least I have the puppy. He makes the day interesting. I am even looking into part time just to get out of the house.

Take care

P.S. How is Courtney doing?

Courtney is doing MUCH better. Thanks for asking, Flo.

She has one more follow-up visit to the doctor next week with x-rays just to make sure nothing is damaged. But with the dramatic improvement in how she has been able to use her arm - I think we are all good! She doesn't even need to wear the wrist splint all the time. I think if there was some sort of fracture in there that she would be feeling it. So I'm not at all worried about what the doc says next time. Thank goodness!

Good for you with the motivation on the job search. I'm having a really hard time staying positive because it is so darn depressing seeing what little is available out there. I have a few things I've been doing on the side for a little extra income - but that just seems to distract me more from the search for a REAL job.

:cheer2: :cheer2: I am happy for Cortney!:woohoo:

Staying motivated and positive (most of the time) is what keeps me going. I do have my moments were I want to give up, but that is not in my Vocabulary.

I try to look at it this way. There is a reason things happen.

Take care!:grouphug:

Well we are back from the hospital and the port-a-cath is in place. They had to do it in my neck vein which wasn't their first choice but other than a little discomfort I don't feel bad and was able to come home. Yeah!

Mary, so glad you were able to come home. I really wish I was close enough to help you out.:grouphug: I can not even imagine what you are going though.. Hope your evening goes well.

Kelly and Flo...I sure hope things turn around for you soon. I am glad that both of you can stay positive. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: And this will be a wondeful cruise.

Ok, I have an idea.

A theme for the curise could be Disney Celebrations... They could have ways, to celebrate the speical events, that make Disney what it is today, from the birth of the mouse to special anniversarys.

So, what do you think?

Sounds like fun and would go with the parks celebrations. Who would you have as guests?

Glad to hear that you are back. Has the discomfort decreased at all?

Dianne,

Thanks! If I don't think that way I will go nuts.

This is where I have a problem...I only got into Disney about 10 years ago, I still have a lot to learn. But I am sure Disney has had a enough celebrations that they could figure that out.

I figured it would tie into the what will you celebrate campain.:dance3:

Good morning everyone - happy Friday.

I'm up earlier than usual due to my shoulder. Still very sore from the surgery yesterday. I actually took a pain pill last night which helped. I'm sure this will only last for a day or so and then I expect things to be better.

Have a great day everyone!
