The kids wanted to sleep in the living room Saturday night to watch movies. Our dog Max fell asleep on the couch with Cory. Isn't that cute? Those two love each other so much.

What a cute photo! :flower3:

This cruise will be a very short trip for us. We'll stay the night before at the port and then fly home right after the cruise. We'll be coming back just a few weeks later in October for a longer stay at WDW. I've already got a Grand Villa in Kidani Village booked as well as the Threehouse Villas for part of the stay. I can't wait!

I'm sure you will love it at BLT! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Kelly,

It is my hope one day to stay at any Grand villa and the Treehouses. You will have to take pictures to.

I have been checking ticket prices out this morning for WDW. I figured that since we are coming in on Saturday and should be at the boardwalk before 2:00PM we would do Epcot (Since you can walk). But at the price of 85.00 I am not sure it is worth it.

What do you guys think?

I know we have the meet so I would go then go to the park. DOn't want to miss that.;)

Flo - I think if I were you I would skip the park and go over to Downtown Disney maybe. We always enjoy that. Something else we like to do, which may sound weird, is to resort hop. We like to go look at the other resorts and see the layout, pool areas, bars, restaurants, etc. That way we can see if we want to stay there at some point in time.

You will have to buy him one on one of your trips to the World or the Cruise.:)

Well, he does HAVE a doggy blanket. But he just prefers to steal everyone else's. I think his little cotton throw is just not enough for the spoiled pooch. He likes the down-filled blankets we all have. He's such a stinker!

What a cute photo! :flower3:

Thanks Chris. I thought it was precious.

I will be sure to take lots of pictures. Both places are so new. I'm so lucky I was able to get both reservations for that stay.

Kelly - can't wait to see and hear about the Treehouse Villas. They look so cool!

Chris,

I do agree with you on Downtown Disney. I love it there. WHen my DS playsed baseball last Feb. in Florida we stayed at SSR for a week. Walked to Downtown Disney every day and some times 2 times a day. That is if we were not at baseball. THere is so much to do down there. ALso, I like to sit have a Margarita and People watch.

I like the Idea of resort hopping. There are some out there that I would like to see.

take care

Does anyone know when the member cruise website will be up and going with information about this year's cruise? :sail:

They said check back in the Spring so I'd say we'd be lucky to see anything new for another month or so. Hopefully something will come sooner but you never know with DVC. :)

Too cute! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone. I just made our reservation for the night before the cruise at BLT. With the cruise itself and where we are staying out of the way, the rest of the trip planning is in the hands of my stepdaughter. I hope I taught her well.

Mike

Mike, that sounds cool. I'd love to try BLT some day. I've only stayed at the Contemporary once but really enjoyed it.

If you are flying in that day and if you are planning on coming to the meet I would skip going to the parks. Since this is your first time staying at the Boardwalk you might enjoy just spending the evening there. They have entertainment and it is a great place for people watching. Plus you can usually catch a lot of Illuminations without going in the park. Especially if you walk over to the bridge by Epcot. There is so much to see/do in the Boardwalk/Swan/Dolpin/Yacht Club/Beach Club area that it should fill your night.

Congrats to Kelly on the :bride:

Congrats to Flo on the pirate:

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

Mary,

Walking over to the bridge to watch the fire works sounds good. Thanks for letting me know. I did not know that they still had the entertainmnet at the boardwalk. That will be fun to.

Thanks everyone for all the ideas.
