Good morning to all my fellow cruisers and Sunshine Club buddies! Hope everyone is well.

Looks like Spring has come to Chicagoland so I'm happy. Taking on some new challenges at work which are keeping me busy but in a good way. Planning for our road trip and cruise in July. Yeah! Other than that not much new on my front.


Here's to sitting up on deck 9 with our beverages of choice and good friends!

Good morning to all my fellow cruisers and Sunshine Club buddies! Hope everyone is well.

Looks like Spring has come to Chicagoland so I'm happy. Taking on some new challenges at work which are keeping me busy but in a good way. Planning for our road trip and cruise in July. Yeah! Other than that not much new on my front.

Glad to hear everything is going good, and the weather is good. We just finished with 3 days of rain totaling 10" of rain, yep 10 inches. Quite amazing and lots of flooding. The sun is out now so that is great.

I agree with Mary! Spring is on the way here in Chicago. But I heard there may be some kind of snow here this weekend and as warm next week. But I will take it.

DIS Friends!

One more class down and only 5 more to go! But, I do have to say that I am not complaining about this class. I am really enjoying this one. The instructor is great and makes the class interesting. The workload is still a lot but more manageable than in the last two that I had. Actually the instructor is so much smarter about the type of work assigned. The last two classes required so much time doing busy work on multiple research papers and the strict requirements on the formatting of the papers was so ridiculous.

The week's activities are going well so far. Busy but good.

Diane - hope you are feeling well soon.

Mary - I just love your pictures. So cute. I'm glad to hear things are going well at work. It's nice when you get to try new things. Keeps things from getting boring.

Dave - Oh, I know you are just as busy. I'm just the crazy one that actually writes it all out. It helps me put some perspective to things and manage my time. Okay, well that sounds good but it doesn't always work. I do have to emphasize though that the weeks where we plan out all the meals in advance based on our schedule really works great. It really makes a difference with the kids too. They help plan and they can just look at the white board on the fridge and see what we are having.

Do you all think it will ever dry out?
I am so excited about the next few days. The weather is supposed to be beautiful. Going to hit 70+ this weekend. DS is going camping (first time without me) so that should be a lot of fun. I am going to take Lauren to the play at our high school - well that is the plan for now. It is the Wizard of Oz. Should be fun.

Been just a bit busy this week but hopefully I'll get on a little later to update everyone on things. Miss everyone being on here!

Watched the DCL video that came in the mail the other day, and when they showed a snapshot of the beverage station on Deck 9, I got a little misty and thought of all our wonderful mornings there!! Wish I was on Deck 9 right NOW!

Work up this morning and guess what was on the ground. We have Snow! Last week in the 60's and this week snow. Oh well lieved here long enought to know we could have snow in April.

Chris - I think you are on your way back now. So I hope you had a great time and safe travles home.

Oh Joanne said hi to everyone and she is getting no were iwth getting back on the DIS.

Hi everyone! What a crazy week it was! We had a proposal that was doe out yesterday, so I ended up working all last weekend and then late almost every night. I ended up at about 66 hours for the week and some of the team was there even longer each day than I was!

This coming week will be much different. I will be at an off-site training class all week taking a "Pransky" course (State of Mind).

Absolutely beautiful last couple of days here. Yesterday I was off so I ended up visiting some museums and other sites to get some more national park stamps. Today I ended up doing some spring cleaning.

Good Morning Sunrise Coffee Club Deck 9ers, and all my cruisin' friends!

It's Monday Morning - WAKE UP!!!!!

It's a dreary Monday here in Jersey. Cloudy, rainy, breezy - yuck!

It was a nice weekend! Gorgeous weather on Saturday. Got to run around with DBFF inbetween dropping DS at a birthday party and back, then to a Blue & Gold Banquet for a crossover. We actually had time to go to dinner, which we haven't done in ages! It was great.

Yesterday, DH and DS went out to camp so I had the day alone at the house! Got a lot of things done - real spring cleaning type of stuff. Also put up the bunnies and other Easter decorations!

Ok - breaking news - I finally broke down and got myself a Facebook page!
Don't everyone fall over at once. Now the question is - how do I find all of you????

Sue-Thank you so much for the pic, recieved it Friday on my way out for the weekend. I also sent a friend request on FB.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was up in VT at a bowling tournament and placed well. We left Mass. on Friday and it was 68. Sunday Morning in Burlington VT it snowed for two hours and was 36, left to go home and it was 64...weird weather

Dave - I know what you mean about the weather. It was in the thirties in the morning yesterday then by afternoon the sun was out. But that is because we had snow on Saturday and Sunday. Congrats! on placing well in the turnment! Great job.
