Morning!

Getting ready to go get haircuts today. Then take the youngest and two friends to the mall. What fun that is.

We are to be in the 40's for the next week! Lots of melting will be going on. Yay!

We leave a week from today! We are so anxious. We are just hoping that the weather warms up down in Florida. It is pretty chilly down there this morning. Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather for us.

OMG, I'm so excited. I just have to share with you guys.

Our High School goes on an Orlando trip every four years. That way every class gets to go, but only once. Next year is our turn and both girls will be going. Becca as a Senior and Brooke as a Freshmen. Well, we just got the itinerary and stuff and I believe that the way it looks they will actually be performing at DISNEY!!!!! The Marching Band down MAIN STREET USA and the Show Choir at DTD.

Now, I'm not for definite sure, but that is the way it looks by the itinerary. It still says pending, but. . . . what else can we assume with the times and where they are going to be.

And if you have been to DTD lately, they built that new stage down by Ghiradelli and in the back ground is SSR, and if my girls get to perform on that stage and we own at SSR, well, can you imagine my excitement. To see the girls perform in front of one of the resorts we own at! I have already had tears in my eyes over it. I know, I'm pathetic! But I just had to share because I knew you all would understand the excitement in this.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thanks gang. I knew you would understand. And Flo, the trip is March 16-22 next year. I'm still doing the happy dance (Don't know if that is the happy dance but I like the dancing banana!!!!!!

So with the trips we have planned next year - Orlando and DC/NYC--Becca's Sr. Trip, I'm still planning on the members cruise. I so want to see you all again! You have made cruising such a joy for us!!!!!!!

Hello DIS Friends!!!

Seems like forever since I have been on here.

Flo - Congrats on the full time job!

Sounds like everyone is doing well and keeping busy as usual.

Our Blue & Gold Banquet went well on Monday. DS had 3 of his teachers attend for which he was very proud. He started Boy Scouts the following night.

DD will be attending her first Daisies meeting Monday night. They are having a tea party so that will be a really nice first night for her. She gets to wear a fancy dress and all. She is so excited.

Kids and I went snow tubing Saturday up at Blue Mountain with scouts. Very long day but it was fun.

DD and I went to a jewelry party today

My classes start up again this Wednesday. So excited that this is my last regular class.

Hey, I am watching the weather report on the news, Looks like a high of 59 here tomorrow In the 50's all week. How sweet it is!?!?!?!

Well, I am exhausted after a very busy weekend. Hope you all have a great week. Hope to check back in soon.

Gee, I have some good news of my own! Dustin's concert was a huge success!! He and the entire band sounded awesome! If you were to listen to just the music and not see who was playing, I would challenge anyone to tell me that they would have known they were a middle school band! They were just that good - of course, I'm just a little bias! And yes, Flo, he looked fantastic in his suit! Look out, Chris, and hold on to the girls!
I took lots of pictures, so as soon as I get them off the camera, I'll post a few. I ordered the CD of the concert, and if I can get them copied easily, I'll send you one, Chris, since your DD also plays trombone!

hello my fellow cruisers!

I wanted to share some news. I started my job today as a full time employee. They harried me. I am no longer a temp. Now I get paid holidays so this is a good thing.

I read that also, DS has moved his wedding to 9-1-10, I told him he could not move it during the cruise. the date will not be confirmed until the Cardinals schedule is released, since they are to be married at home plate.

Glad Dustin is doing so well, Sorry i have not been around, I think I may have been a little depressed, not sure anyway, I back now...my nefew's wedding is Friday, and I have been getting myself, my mother and DDG 5 fixed up for the wedding you know, dresses, shoes etc.

My daughter and her clan can not make it so we will go see her Saturday to celebrate the youngest DDG 1 for her first birthday, I got her presents and I still need to wrap them.

Tomorrow after work I will get my hair trimmed, I am letting it grow out.
Thursday I have an appointment to get my nails done. Am I forgetting anything...Oh Yea.

Love you guys, going to visit Mary, and Flo and DHs on Memorial Day weekend, join us!

Sue-What little snow we had was gone within a week, it has been so warm here, mid fifties, nice but not the best for business We are glad to hear that Dustin's concert went off great, what an amazing feeling knowing your son is playing what you are actually hearing!!!

Chris-I have been extremely busy, thankfully. The shop is surprisingly busy as well as carting the kids around. Tanya is in Dubuque today and tomorrow and I hear the weather is crudy..lol It sure is nice here!!!
