Hello DIS Friends!!
Sounds like all is going well for everyone.
Congrats Dustin on a great performance!
Sue - DS is in Troop 15. He has only attended one meeting. He missed last night due to a special program at school last night.
Chris that sounds so cool. How exciting would that be to have your child performing at your 'Disney home'?!?!?!
Dianne so glad to hear you are feeling better. That sounds like such fun getting married at home plate.
Hi Mary and Flo!! Glad to hear you are having such nice weather. Looking back a few weeks, did you think it was ever going to warm up?
We are expecting lots of rain over the next few days. Everything is so wet right now that I am worried we may have some flooding.
Hi Robbie! Are things back to normal around you? I think the last time I was on the here I read you had some bad weather and very high winds. Was there much clean up for you?
Dave - If you are in need of a car to work on let me send you mine.

It sure could use a face lift. Oh who am I kidding its problems are more than cosmetic. But I will keep it as long as I possibly can. Sure can not add any more payments on such as a new car bill. How could I then save for our SSMC11 reunion?
Where is Joanne these days? I do not recall seeing her on here lately. Hope all is well. I will have to track her down on Facebook and send her a note.
As for me, tonight was my first night of class for this session. 1 down and 6 more nights to go. I really like the instructor. He is very entertaining and keeps the class interesting. Lots of work (or course) but I think I am really going to like this one.
DD had a wonderful time at her Daisies tea party.
Last night DS and I attended a special program they do each year for the 5th grade boys. They talk to them about the their changing bodies, personal hygiene, and all that fun stuff. Also talked to them about the transition to middle school. I had previously bought him 'The Body Book for Boys' which he read a little but I made sure he read it before going to this event. To better prepare him for the topics to be discussed. He was glad I did. He was probably one of few boys that did not giggle through the video they watched.
Oh, and as of this morning DS (to be 11 in just 20 days) can now look me straight in the eye without looking up.

It was just last week that we were discussing how he was almost my height. I said I bet by the end of the school year you will be looking me right in the eye. I was only giving him 3 months. Who was I kidding...it only took him a week. He thought that was so cool!
DD had her first Tball practice for this season. What was the first question she asked when I told her what team she would be on???? What color is my shirt???
Okay, I better get to bed. I am under the weather yet again. Another cold that DD brought home.
Enjoy the remainder of your week and the upcoming weekend. Oh, Chris have a great trip to WDW. Enjoy!!
