Happy November Everyone!!!
I am finally catching up on the posts from the weekend.
Welcome Back Sue! Happy to hear all is well. Sounds like you had a very busy week.
Congratulations Dave!!! I have also been trying to lose weight. Since about the end of May I have lost about 28 pounds to date. It fluctuates a little but I am trying to focus on the healthy foods and just have an occasional snack. Also trying to teach the kids to eat healthier snacks. DS is good about eating fruits and vegetables but DD won't touch them. If I could (or would) just set aside time for the exercising

that would make a big difference. We also have a Wii Fit but I have yet to use it.

I actually sat down and read the book that came with it to learn about it. DD usually has the Wii in his room so I never bother to unhook it all and get it set up where I can use it. One of these days.
Mary - So glad you and Mark are feeling better.
Diane - Wow, things will be so quiet around there. You will not know what to do with yourself. Well, at least the first few days.
Flo - So do you think you will be planning a trip on the Disney Dream?? I think it was you that mentioned the points would be posted today. I have not even checked it out yet.
Chris - I did see that water slide on the Disney Dream. I have not shown the kids yet. I mentioned it to them and their faces were like

. They would love it. We would definitely try it. Looks like so much fun but I do have to say it does make me a little nervous thinking of the kids going on it. I would probably want to put their life jackets on them which would of course embarass them.
I even looked at the kids clubs. Wow. They look so cool and I love that they broke out the age groups. DS would have a special place for his age group.
Happy Belated Halloween!!
Sounds like almost everyone had fun. Sue, I understand your frustration. A couple years ago when we took the kids out, we left a bowl of candy on the front step and put a note on it. Please help yourself to ONE and leave some for the other kids to enjoy. Well, when we came back some kids had taken all the candy they wanted and thru the bowl and the rest of the candy across the yard. I was so mad. It is disappointing that they would do that and ruin it for the rest of the kids. Others in the neighborhood leave bowls out but I have never done it since.
DS did not go out. He wanted to stay home and hand out treats. DD was Pocahontas. She originally wanted to be a ghost but then decided to just use one of her Disney outfits. She looked cute. I was lucky too because we did our block and then she was ready to come home. Just before the rain started coming down. Her little bucket was full and she did not want anymore.
We get trick or treaters here but has never been anything like when I was younger. I did not even get candy this year. I did not want it in the house. Not that this is much better but I bought the multi packs of cookies - nutter butters, oreos, and chips ahoy; multi-packs of chips - potato, nacho, corn, cheese curls, pretzels, and then peanut butter cracker packs. At least that way whatever was left over could be used in the kids lunch boxes along with their healthy snack.
Oh, I got the bathroom finished this weekend!!

Finished the painting touchups and got my new curtain rod and curtains hung up. I also cleaned my area rug and hardwood floor in the living room so we will be ready to put up the Christmas Tree next weekend.
I am going to pick up my Thomas Kincade Disney pictures soon. They called and are ready for me to pick up. I am soooooo excited. Seems like it has been raining every time I plan to go pick them up. No way I am doing that in the rain.
Have a GREAT week!
Class starts Wednesday and the kids are off 11/5 - 11/9 so it will be a busy week.
