Good morning Dave!

Bowling was a lot of fun. In fact many said it was one of the best employee appreciation days we've had. My bowling wasn't very good and I was the lowest on my team (even lower than one woman who had never bowled) but I had a great time. We ended up with 18 teams (we came in 14th) and the top 8 teams get to pick from a prize pool that includes digital cameras, gift cards or a vacation day (I'm pretty sure everyone on the top team will pick that). It was a fun 2 1/2 hours (when you include travel time).

Now off to pay bills and go to work where I know I'm appreciated!

It has been raining here, non-stop, for over 24 hours now. Thank goodness it is not snow.

The last football game for our school is tonight. It is gonna be a cold one. I'm going to watch Becca's last marching performance for the year. Also, it is Senior night and my nephew is a Senior so my sister wants me to go to take pictures when they walk across the field.

For those going on future cruises, how are your plans coming?

Good Morning Deck 9 Sunrise Club and all my friends! ​

Hope everyone is ready to have a great weekend! Ours is looking like it will be very rainy - again! Yes, it was about 75 degrees here yesterday but we can kiss that goodbye as all the rain you folks in the Midwest have had lately you are kind enough to now be sharing with the East coast! Thanks!

I have a big fundraiser going for our group of Scouts that go to England for our exchange group. We've organized a scrapbooking day, where people buy a spot at a table for the entire day and then we are doing all of the meals to serve them. It's a very long day, but usually fun. What will make it more fun this time is that today, two of our friends with the exchange on the English side are flying in today to visit for a week - it will be great to see them!

John has to work and Dustin will probably tag along with him. Middle school soccer is done next week, thank goodness, but traveling soccer goes on til the end of November! I need a break from all of this constant running - where's Deck 9 when you need it!!!!!

Anybody else have crazy weekend plans?

We filled out the application, but we didn't hear so I guess we didn't get chosen - but at least somebody I know did! If you have any extra tokens left, send me one in the mail!! Oh my goodness! I did one of these last year and it was a blast. If you are on facebook, I have pictures from the party we had. Now it is necessary to say that when we have these kinds of things, Tom and I get very creative. DVC didin't send much stuff out but that was fine. The party is what you make of it. As for anyone I quoted and said they would love to come but they can't . . . you can participate via computer. Last year, Disney Cruise Line gave away I think 4 trips to participants and 2 for party hosts. If you have any questions, just send me a PM and I'll be back in touch.

We went to the anual Apple Butter festival in Kimswick MO this morning and yes, of course, we bought apple butter, and lots of other things.

Good Evening Everybody.

Busy, busy, busy it seems these days. Last night was the final football game for our school. Yes, we were defeated again. No win the entire season. Our sports really suck at our school, but hey, they try. My nephew had to play both offense and defense last night because there were several out sick. He did very well, but was so pooped after the game. I left, freezing, before the emotional part came. My sister said after I left all the football team stood in the one end zone and the seniors walked down the line and got handshakes and good wishes from the other team mates. Then the Sr's all took hands and walked from one end of the football field and back. She said by the time it was over, everybody was crying. Mom's, Dad's, Players, and bystanders. I said, thank god I wasn't there because I am an emotional sap and cry very easily. It is going to be hard enough at graduation for me because her son is like my son. He is the closest I have to a son since I only have daughters. And, he is the only boy on my side of the family.

Then today, Becca had All-State tryouts. Sad to say, she didn't make it. She was not feeling the best and she said it was really nerve racking. But, she tried. That is the most important part. We are still very proud of her.

Brooke is carving her pumpkin right now. Something we haven't done in several years around here. We are usually down at WDW this time of the year. In fact last year we were on the Halloween cruise, Western Carribean itinerary. Such fun. In fact, two weeks from right now we will be down at WDW. EPCOT here we come!

Tomorrow is a stay at home day. Have to do laundry and clean up around here. And I am making baked potato soup for supper. Yummooooo.
