09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009 - Part 4!

Good Morning Everyone! Who has coffee in hand - or other beverages!!! :thumbsup2

The photos are fantastic! Congratulations Becca! Great job and terrific photos - your mom is not crazy, I would have done the exact same thing! :rotfl:

Thanks Susan for the info! Congrats again and keep us posted on the arrival!

I'm so glad to get up and talk to you guys each morning! It really makes my day. Happy thoughts about a very happy time always bring a smile to my face.

Maybe today I'll have time to upload some photos too. Unfortunately, Dustin is in bed with what I think is the flu. I'm monitoring him very closely because I don't know which one it is. He's running a pretty good fever right know and is getting stuffy. But thank goodness he is getting some sleep. Have to keep an eye on how much fluid - he's not drinking much. I'll keep you all updated.

So between wash and some quiet cleaning, so I don't wake him up, I'll hop on here today to chat - hope someone will be around!! ;)

We had such a great time with Dave and Tanya. This is a great picture of them:

I'm here with my hot tea as well as breakfast.

Pixie Dust to Dustin that he gets better soon.

You all made the cruise great for us as well. :thumbsup2

Good Sunday Morning.

Another blustery day here in the midwest.

Today we are going down to have lunch/dinner with my parents around 2. Dad is making BBQ ribs and chicken. Yummmmm. I put a hashbrown casserole, no green beans this time Dave :lmao:, in the crockpot and I made pumpkin bars yesterday. My sister is making who knows what and Mom, she is making green bean casserole I think. We will have enough food down there to feed a small army! My parents are getting ready to head south for the winter so this is like our Thanksgiving/Christmas get together. They will be in Texas until sometime in April. But, we are going to be going to Texas at Thanksgiving time this year to see them and my MIL.

Have a great day! :flower3:

Good morning everyone! I had a great time out laf peeping yesterday. Now I am trying to decide whether I am going to head down to visit my mother this afternoon or whether I will just wait until next week.

Chris, those are great pictures! :rotfl2:

Sue - hope Dustin gets better soon. And that you guys don't get it!

Thanks guys! Me too, considering my 3Day walk starts Friday and I don't want to be sick for that! But I don't want to scare him by putting on one of those masks either - so we'll keep our fingers crossed! :thumbsup2

Sue, I hope Dustin is up and around very soon and I pray you don't catch whatever it is. Good luck on your walk!

Hi Sue, hope Dustin is feeling better:sick:pixiedust:pixiedust:Here is a little pixie dust for him.

We yesterday we went to Ste Genevive, in southeast Missouri.

We had a good time, visited the The Cat reserve. They were beautiful animals,
Visited the Crown winery. took some tours though historical homes, visited a local arts and crafts fair. and walked through the cementry looking for long lost realtivies. I may have found one, I have to do futher research.:yay:

Dianne, that is so cool; you have to let us know what you find out. It sounds like you had a really interesting weekend. I love visiting wineries and going to craft shows.

Mostly I did a lot of babysitting, which will continue tomorrow since DGD7's mom and dad have to work and she has no one to watch her. And we had a birthday party for her on Saturday.

Yeah, DGD7's mom and dad are not together either; it's so hard on the kids, so, as you know, we have to fill in for them as best we can and remain stable for them. At least she's got some fun birthday stuff she can play with and new books to read. She's a pretty good reader, too. She reads aloud to herself and it's funny to hear her say words like "cephalopod" w/no problem. And she knows what they are, too!

Well, time for me to hit the hay. The little one will be up before I know it. Good night; sleep tight.
