That's too funny! As I said before, we are sooooo alike! DH and I often get looks for doing silly things - but that's just us being us!!

Yep, still here too! No baseball watching here. My DH is not a sports fan. We are watching the movie The Family Man, with Nicholas Cage. It's funny.

I can't believe how early your kids go back Chris. Ours don't start until 8/31, but they go until 6/20 or so.

Yep. Some schools around here even started on Monday . I really think it is to early to start. They are supposed to get out before Memorial Day then but the last several years we have had too many snow days that have to be made up at the end of the year so they go till about the end of May, first part of June.

But what I hate is that there are so many teacher in service days and days off school, at least a day and a half each month where they don't go. Then they have like a full two weeks off at Christmas, then another week off for Spring Break. It just kills me. When I was a kid we started school after labor day and was out before Memorial Day, but the teachers didn't need so many days off during the year. I don't get it. Sorry, rant over

Our kids have always started a day or two after Labor Day. They get so many days off in November that its not funny - between Election Day, the NJ teachers convention (the second thursday and friday) Veteran Day, and Thanksgiving. They get about a week or so for Christmas, a week for Easter (or Spring Break) and usually get out the second week of June or so - depending on snow days, which we haven't had many of lately (rats, cause I like snow).

anyway, thought i would let you all know that we just found out that we will be taking a little one on the trip with us, however he/she will be traveling in my belly!

We just found out the other week that I am pregnant so we are excited but I also had to cancel our couples massage and no fufu drinks for me I have also filled out all our forms and just need our luggage tags.

We can't wait!

Don't forget that we walked to school up hill both ways when we were kids too! That's what we tell our kids anyways. lol
