Well I have good news to share...I was able to start my last chemo today. So come Wednesday when I get unplugged I'll be done with chemo.

Not to say that it will all be over. I have to have surgery to remove the port when we come back from the cruise and will have many tests over the coming years, but it is an important milestone.

Thank you all for your support over the past 7 months. It really means a lot to me and has really helped.

Praise the Lord!!! That is wonderful news and I am sure you are relieved, Mary.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers.:grouphug::flower3:

We went looking at waterproof cameras today. We don't want to spend too much money but we want it to take good pictures. We found a Fugi that seems to be pretty popular and is about $175.00. That was the cheapest one and is actually better than our current everyday camera. Has anyone used an underwater camera before? I've heard that as the day goes on, the sand gets stirred up and the water is cloudy. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Thanks!
Susie :smickey:

hi. i own the olympus ...can't remember the model now :( it'll come... anyhow, i like it alot. i've taken it in the rain, down waterslides plunging me into the water, to the bottom of the pool (6 ft). haven't had a problem yet (knock on wood) it was pricey (about $250) but, money well spent. there are newer models since i bought mine ( a couple of years now ). will be bringing it along for those snap shots of nemo :)

Im still here. I am have been so busy getting ready and finishing my final formy class so i can post it.:banana::banana:

I'm here on and off, cooking and such. Been working on my FE gifts; DH looked at them and said, "We're going to need a bigger suitcase." I said that whatever we need to bring them in will be filled up w/DVC stuff on the way back, so it's all good :rotfl: .

We saw our local dinner-theater's production of Evita this Saturday. This production was so good it could have been on Broadway. I was very impressed. And now I can't get the music out of my head, but that's OK...it's great music.

Not offended at all; I just didn't want to be too OT and start something that might be annoying to some.

I wish I was going on your seven day cruise!! Have a wonderful time - :cool1:

Oh, yeah, me too. This member cruise is actually the first 4-nighter we've done (the previous 3 have been 7-nighters). I just get more excited every day.

Making anything interesting, Dave? I'm just making my mom's version of shepherd's pie (it's one of the easiest recipes in the world, but my family loves it).

My moms recipe for homemade fried chicken, I like the sounds of yours better(mostly because I wouldn't be cooking:lmao:)

Ok, so I leave for a couple of minutes and you two get chatty!!

I love shepherd's pie - how do you make yours? ;)

I like fried chicken too. But we just had leftovers! I figured since I was cleaning and trying to switch closets from DS's old to new room, I might as well stay with the theme of the day and clean out the frig!! :rotfl2:
