Chris,
I feel your pain - with some of that. The pre-school pay-here, pay-there does seem to get crazy these days. Thank goodness our schools went to a "uniform" policy, with khaki pants and different color collared shirts, etc. It makes mornings sooooo easy. I love it, and it really has helped shape up of few of the small problems that were developing at school. No one gets picked on for not wearing the newest and latest and greatest in fashion.

I wish our school would go to something like that. There is just a dress code at our schools. No shorty, short skirts or shorts, no spaghetti string tops, no foul language on shirts, etc.

Besides, I have all boys - thank goodness - and they are easier (most times) about what they wear!

And after working this many days at a girl scout camp, I'm REALLY glad I have all boys. :lmao:

Some days I wish I had boys too! :lmao: I love my girls and wouldn't trade them for anything. But there are those days!!!!! :rotfl2:

Hey, I don't know how old your girls are- but I work at Gymboree (goes up to size 12 in girls) and we are having a pretty good back to school sale. :)

anyway... that's all of the advertising for them!!

when does everyone's kids go back to school? My daughter goes back on September 8th. Her school was under construction so they wanted 12 weeks for summer vacation... so, she will have 1 1/2 days of school and then be gone for a week!! :teacher:

Thanks, but my girls are 16 and 13. And are just about the same size now. My 13 year old is actually taller than my 16 year old.

Our school starts August 20th. Two weeks from today! The girls can't wait.

Chris- I took my 13 year old shopping and she didn't even let me attempt to choose anything..LOL

have a good day everyone.

:rotfl2: Sounds familiar!

Hey everyone! Thought I would say "Hi" since I haven't been on today. Just haven't had time. I didn't sleep well last night, only two of us in the office today-and we were busy, had to go to my mom's as soon as we got home from work for supper and after that I had to go register my girls for school! Phewwwww.

School registration just about kills us any more. A hundred here, and a hundred there, here a hundred there a hundred everywhere a hundred! :lmao: Then you have all the booster clubs wanting something, lunch tickets-do they really need lunch-:rotfl2:, and activity tickets. :scared1: Is what I looked like when they gave me my bill.

Then this weekend we have to go school supply and clothes shopping :scared1:. It's funny, I thought I was pretty hip, but boy, when it comes to picking out clothes, my girls are really picky. And they tell me I have really bad taste. Awww, I remember telling my mom the same thing. Just never thought it would happen to me. :rotfl:

Oh, Well. :flower3:

Not sure what grade your kids are in but I would take a hundred here and a hundred there. I have three in college :scared1:

my youngest whon is 4 goes to preschool on august 25

Isn't it funny to try to figure out what time it "really is" when you are travelling! Have a great trip....if you need anything from the store after you are here, or if you want to go to the grocery store, or want to buy liquor or beer or anything, just call me, I am over there all the time!!!!!REALLY!!!!:cheer2:

Thanks Connie! Usually a Diet Coke will get me through the night! Can't wait to see you guys again.

Linda - are they in Thornhill? If so that is where Mike and Karen (ohiominnie) moved too. Ken and Shari might remember them as they were at the table next to us on the 10 day. I can't believe that Staci is a high school graduate. My how time flies. Give them all my best.

I talked to Shari last night and told her you said hi. She said hi back.

They bought a model home in Independence. There is a nice little lake right in their development.

Helloe everyone. National Night Out in our neighborhood was a big success last night. We had a great turnout and DS had a blast. He did not want to get wet during the wet down. He did enjoy the ccotton candy and the games. We had a hula hoop and limbo contest for kids and adults and Charles participated in both. It was so cute.

Today was a good day at work. I did not have to put out any fires. I know the upcoming weeks will be hectic. I am preparing to write another brief that is due write before the cruise so I have some busy days ahead. I will need a vacation by the time it is due so I am glad that it will be a few days after I turn in my brief.

Today is my parents' 48th anniversary so I spoke to them. They are doing well and still enjoying each other's company.

I can't believe how fast the weeks seem to be going by. Before we know it, we will be on the cruise. I cannot wait and I look forward to meeting you all.

Marsha, big congrats to your parents; 48 years is no small accomplishment!

Woohoo! We finally got our ME folder and tags. That starts making the trip feel real for me.

There must be no rhyme or reason the why they are mailing them out. It seams like at least one of us is getting them each day.:yay::woohoo:

But I do agree that it makes it seam real and that getting that means it is getting closer and closer.:yay::woohoo:

Marsha – I hope Charles gets used to the new school. Good luck!

Take care

hi flo
i keep trying that link and i usually get a dark screen. maybe it is blocked here at work lol

i can not see it either. all black screen. i am on work computer also. but i am not going through work site and i turned off proxy. that usually allows me to see pictures and stuff I can not see at work. darn.

UPDATE - I tried going directly to the port canaveral website and then once on home page i navigated to webcam and that worked for me. Maybe you should try the same thing.

Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Well I am up way to early this morning, especially because I don't have to work today. But for some reason, my cat Daisy has decided that she doesn't always want to use the litterbox at night (started Sunday). So 4 AM this morning, I woke up to the cat making strange cries and I found her about to go in my bedroom. So I picked her up and brought her downstairs to near her litterbox. Well 2 seconds later, she was all set. But now of course I am awake and can't go back to sleep.

Robbie,

I did look at the time and went wow she is up early. :) Love are animalis but hate when they do things like that. Take a nap during the day. It also seams like they know you could sleep and want you up.

Take care
